The cruise was nice. My only problem is for almost $350. There was not enough food. The staff was friendly. Excellent and great. Great customer service friendly and I think my waitress was named Katie. She was excellent. My only problem was there wasn't enough food. For the amount of money and one glass of champagne that could have been ordered vegetable platters other than that it was a great experience. Can't wait to do it again

Happy Mother's Day to my Beautiful wife

Frederick_B, May 2026
Great experience and atmosphere. Definitely doing this again. From the wait staff to the music and boat, everything was wonderful.

Don’t waste your money

Sofia_L, Mar 2026
The food is soooo mid. The steak was premade so you couldn’t order your steak how you like it (e.g. medium rare). The salmon was fine. Honestly the whole experience felt like a cheap tacky wedding and it was maybe 30% capacity so it was really awkward. DJ was also pretty interesting.. Overall super weird experience and it 100% was a waste of money and time. Oh yeah you are also just going in circles around the Marina so that was pretty weird too

Food needs improvement, everything else was great

David_F, Nov 2025
Staff was great. It was a lot of fun but the food was not very good. My wife enjoyed her chicken dinner but I ordered the flat iron steak and never finished it because it was pretty bad.

Response from Host, Nov 2025

We’re happy to hear you had fun and appreciated our staff, but we’re sorry the meal wasn’t as enjoyable. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve.

My Wife’s Birthday.

The service was great, and also the staff was very friendly, and the captain got us all back safely and, the DJ was excellent.

It was a great forth-year wedding anniversary experience

Friendly but. Disappointing

Lupita_L, Jun 2025
Disappointing! Because it was Fathers Day weekend th e dinner cruise price was doubled. But we did it anyway, also celebrating 2 birthdays. The ship was older, smaller than the one we had getter before. The food was below average for $200+ per person, the steak was cooked on shore earlier in the day and reheated on the boat so they all were well done, and the dessert table had just a handful of selections, very limited. The service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. But the aging boat and sub par meal at such a high price made this most likely my last time with this cruise company.

Great experience

Dinner, staff and entertainment was amazing..Staff went above and beyond to be attentive, kind and fun…EXCEPT (a man, security) who was welcoming people on board..he was extremely rude and not helpful, since we were not sure where to go nor if we were at the right boat..8/16/24 @ 6:30 pm cruise

Great Experience

Friendly staff, great food and great music!!! Crew was awesome and very knowledgeable of the vessel!

Not a premier dinner cruise

Michael_R, Jun 2022
It was terrible. It is billed as a a “premier” cruise. It is anything but. We expected something like the Odyssey Cruises out of Chicago but it was anything but that. The carpet was old and stained. The windows were dirty and the floor was so slanted you could hardly walk and the bathrooms were disgusting. The music was too loud and most of the guests were drunken and obnoxious people in there twenties. This was not a premium cruise. The only positive was our waiter Arturo was a nice guy and tried hard to provide good service. We liked him. Aside from that this dinner cruise really stunk.

Cruising after engagement was yummy

Choh_N, Aug 2020
I must confess i did enjoyed my time on board, the staff was great and very polite, crew members very organized and friendly, can't wait to be back, hornblower should always advice customer to dress to withstand the breeze

So, we had a fun time and Marina Del Rey was nice, but we originally wanted to have this tour out of Newport Beach. The reservations give you the option between both and recommends you call within 24 hours to choose one. I actually called a little over a day in advance and was told by the Hornblower reservationist that the Newport Beach cruise was sold out for weeks and that they reserved me for the Marina Del Rey location. I was disappointed, but was able to adapt to the change of venue with some added stress. Apart from this, I do have to say that the cruise was lovely, the service was good, the food was outstanding, and the entertainment was good too. It was a nice change for a weekend, but wish I did not have to travel out of my way an additional 50 miles.

We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious. We booked at one location and accidentally showed up at the wrong cruise location but the captain was very accommodating because it was our 20th anniversary. He made sure it was indeed a special event for us. Loved it...

It was a wonderful experience for me and my husband! It was also my birthday and I must say the best one ever! The captain, staff, food and the DJ were the best! I will definitely be back and have already told several family members and friends

Philip W, Jun 2016
The tour was good but beware of the sample menu advertised on viator, the 'filet minion' actually was beef short rib, a cheap bit of stewed beef. And the mahi mahi was a tiny bit of salmon. So a far cheaper menu than they advertise. The trip was ok, except for very loud groups of people ruining it

We expected more from this tour. The tour is a cruise in the harbour area. The staff was extremly friendly and helpfull. The food was o.k.. The included sparkling wine was lowest quality and we could not drink it.

What a lovely evening! From start to finish, the whole experience was fantastic. We were greeted with a welcome drink had time to catch a gorgeous sunset. We even spotted some sea lions resting on the docks. The service was great and the staff were very attentive. The food was good, you definitely won't leave hungry.

John S, Jul 2014
My date and I had wanted to take a romantic cruise around the Marina. The food and service was good. The music, a very important part of a romantic cruise was not at all appropriate. 90% of the music was Salsa, there was only one song of the many that was slow. About 20% of the passengers danced when the Salsa was playing; over 50% of the passengers danced to the one slow song. My date and I hoped we could celebrate special occasions with a cruise like this, unfortunately we won't be returning.

Nice Cruise, two rounds in the harbour. Diner is good. After diner remains roundabout 3/4 hour for dancing, (for those who think it´s a party boat). We think it´s worth the money and time. It was a liitle bit cold because open doors on the top deck. Info : We traveled there with the hop on / off bus tours, a taxi back isaround 60 $.
