This is one of the most popular tours & I can see why, the views are amazing.
One waterfall is nicer than the last, the geysers are very cool to watch & walking between the tectonic plates is a fun experience.
Nature really is great, u have plenty of time to check out each area & take more than enough pics. This was a great tour & worth the time.

A perfect way to see 3 of Icelands stunning history in one tour. There's plenty of time to explore, take pictures and just take in this beautiful history. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and friendly. I'd highly recommend this tour.

We were on a cruise and this tour offered pick up from the cruise terminal. It would have been good if they could have provided a map as the location was not straightforward.
The trip delivered what is promised. We visited all the big three Golden Circle highlights and they are worth seeing. We had rain virtually throughout but still great sights and all very busy. The lunch stop is at the Geyser centre. Very nice place but as you would expect with Iceland, lunch is costly. Overall this is a very good value for money tour. Recommend.

My husband was sick on the morning of the tour, so we were not able to go on it.
No refund within 24 hours. My question is, how do you cancel within 24 hours, if you aren’t sick yet?

This travel adventure was terrific from the start to finish. It was easy to book and the staff was very helpful, with on the phone direct assistance. Lots of emails kept us totally informed. The pickup was exactly as described. The three sites took our breath away to say nothing of the journey from place to place. Our guide, Rosa, was incredibly knowledgeable and personable.

As we were not given clear instructions on where to meet, we waited until 10.00am without the bus coming for us. I had to borrow someone's phone to call Gray Line who proceeded to tell us that we should be at Skarfabakki 315 whilst we had been waiting at 312 where our ship was berthed and they advised "they weren't doing pickup at 312 due to construction". Our booking just said Pickup: Harbour - Cruise Ship - Skarfabakki. As we were at the bus terminal at the cruise terminal we assumed we were at the right place. We have put in a complaint and request for refund with both Viator and Gray Line and so far no joy. Looks like $268 AUD out of pocket! Buyer beware...

We regret to know that you were not able to join us for the tour. As we checked, our team sent you two confirmation emails (on August 5 and August 6) with the attached voucher to serve as a guide and reference for the pick-up process but we did not receive any response. Our GPS showed that the bus was at the pick-up location as early as 09:22 and was parked at the terminal until 09:44. We were able to pick up 10 other passengers at the same location and time, so it is odd for us that you were not able to board the bus.
We still hope that you enjoyed your stay here in Iceland.

I enjoyed the tour very much. Christina is a very knowledgeable tour guide. I wanted to comment about the planning and communication. I scrolled through reviews about pickup and timing so I was extra vigilant about the pickup time and location. I exchanged several Facebook messages with Grayline and they were responsive and helpful. On the afternoon before the tour, I went to check out the pickup location at the cruise terminal and Grayline sent me a photo to confirm the correct pickup location for booked tours. On the day of, the pick up time at the pickup location is right at 30 minutes before the tour start time. Once these are sorted, everything else went smoothly.

Great tour! Oliver was an excellent and knowledgeable guide.
The tour moves at a good pace but gives good time to check out each stop. There are opportunities for lunch/snacks along the way, but they are limited and expensive (lamb soup at the Geysir stop was well worth it).
The bus is comfortable with WiFi and phone chargers. All of the stops are worthwhile and the scenery along the way is interesting.
Definitely recommend for people who want to see a lot in a small amount of time; maybe not as spectacular as the South Coast tour, but arguably more interesting and historic.
Our teens liked it. Not sure I’d bring small kids.
We will use and recommend Grey Line again.

Our adult family of 5 were lucky enough to visit Iceland in March 2024. None of us had ever been and were looking forward to seeing the country. We booked several tours including the Golden Circle Tour, whale watching, food tour, Fly Over Iceland, etc. Happy to say that Iceland did not disappoint and we all agreed that we would love to come back and see things when they are a lush green. Tour was informative, bus was warm and clean and the guides were funny and kind.

Tour company, Greyline, did not respond to emails about pickup prior to tour. Tour was at 12. We arrived at 1145. No one came and when I called the person who answered the phone said they had alot of pick up issues and we had missed the pickup. I said we had emailed several times ahead about pickup and no one responded. She told me they were too busy to respond. She said they sent an email about pickup time and maybe it ended up in my spam folder. Viator refuses to refund my money. We booked other tours for our time in Iceland and other tour companies were great with communication via email and even phone. This was a huge disappointment and left us with no plans for one day of our 3 day trip to iceland.

Our guide was fabulous! Very knowledgeable and informative. We had the right amount of time at each of the stops. We opted to start at 10am and got home around 6 which was the perfect amount of time due to the short days.

Golden Circle tour was amazing and featured the waterfall, geyser and the National Park.Our guide Kristina was lovely and very knowledgeable
The tour was well managed and we ended up with a small minibus as the coach was full.
Just to advise people you get a pick up at your hotel and then go to a central area where you get in your transport for the trip.
I would recommend the tour and the supplier Grey Line
