They sent wrong date- not the ones I ordered and paid for- tickets for entry so had to pay at site again. I had proof of purchase and they are refusing to refund.

As per our records, the tickets you booked with us were for 2nd March, and we shared the tickets with you in the Viator chat and also on WhatsApp. You also acknowledged receiving the tickets for this date. Later, you informed us that you had made another booking with a different supplier for 3rd March. Unfortunately, it seems the tickets for that booking were not received from the other supplier. Since the booking made with us was for 2nd March, the tickets we provided were correct according to the confirmed reservation. We kindly request you to review the booking date and supplier details for the other reservation. Once again, we sincerely apologize for any confusion and inconvenience caused. Kind regards.

Very difficult to navigate the voucher system. You have to go to an Info station outside the 4 main gates to have your tickets printed then scanned at the appropriate gate.

Very disorganized. You can buy tickets at the main entrance much cheaper. We spent an hour trying to find the tour office and the alternative entrance you have to go in. Not worth the hassle. Just buy tickets at the front gate

The tickets were near an entrance that is difficult to find and rarely used, and somewhere outside the ticket window. They do not provide tickets online. Felt like we were scammed

A Great Day Out, Which You Can Do Yourself

First thing to be aware is that you need to exchange your voucher for the actual entry ticket at their office, which is a 15min walk from the train station if you travel by train (which I recommend). However, this entrance is much less busy than the entrance next to the station and, by following the supplied map, you can follow a 2, 4 or 6 hour route seeing all the important sights (it is not possible to see all of the Pompeii site in one day. It is MASSIVE) and ending your tour at the exit right by the train station. (This exit is also where the buses to Vesuvius are). You can follow a professional guide, but we just followed our map and saw everything that we wanted to. Also, ARRIVE EARLY. We purchased 9am entry tickets, as it gets very busy 👍🏻
