This is a fantastic tour to get the highlights and see some gems of the city. It would take days to take in everything but if you do the tour you learn so much. You can always stick around after and explore but because of the tour you understand so much better. Our guide was magnificent, funny and full of information.

Knowledgeable tour guide (Frankie) to share ... knew how to walk the right roads to avoid the crowds. BUT his taking us aside to badger us about wanting tips was inappropriate.

We waited at the designated point as given by Viator booking.
No one materialised to find us. We finally found someone who said our tour had left. What a complete shambles!!!!!!!

Everything about our Pompeii tour was memorable! Mostly in-part to our amazing tour guide Francesco ! We were so lucky to have had him as our guide. He was entertaining, informative and congenial. Right from the meeting point until the end of the tour he was high energy, exciting to listen to and extremely knowledgeable. He brought Pompeii from 2000 years ago alive!

It was just a great tour, the guide was a volcanologist and that added to the tour with his knowledge of the volcano that caused all the devastation.

We really enjoyed this guided tour with Ornella. We had time at the end to spend a few more hours walking around the rest of the ruins at our own pace which was great. We did the 9am tour which was less crowded. I would recommend catching a train there and meeting the guide on site.

Excellent visit to Pompei. Inexpensive train ticket from Naples. Good connection at pick-up point - Zeus Car Park. Franco the guide was outstanding. Mamma Mia, was he outstanding. Informative, history, quirky humour. Just right. And at the end, he directed my buddy and I to the amphitheatre and museum at the other end where we had a wander, and had a shorter trip / en route back to the Pompei rail station. Highly recommended. Outstanding

Very nice tour with fun and interesting commentary from Francesca. She was great with our 10 year old and had a lot of information to share. It was a nice pace, but didn't feel rushed.
Only complaint of the tour company was that we were supposed to meet someone with a red umbrella at a provided address. We ended up finding the tour, but it wasn't at the address (per Google Maps) and there wasn't a red umbrella. The tour started across the street from where Google Maps indicated in the parking lot.

We really enjoyed wandering around Pompeii, and Francesco was both very knowlegdable and a good guide. The narrative was lively, and we saw where and how the people lived up to the day of the eruption. Incredible!

Anna was superb! She was knowledgeable, excited, and thorough in her descriptions. I had train troubles and arrived 50 min late - she waited (incredibly thankful for that) for me and gave me a great tour. All in all, Anna turned a frustrating start to this tour into something very enjoyable. At the end she gave me some great tips about things I could explore on my own. Thanks!
