The guide was informative and knew the area well. It was fun and we learn a lot about the street art in Phoenix. Well worth the time. There is a fair bit of walking so wear confortable shoes.

The tour was interesting and our guide was very knowledgable about street art in the area and its history. She was very conscientious about the heat and tried to find shade for us whenever possible, which I really appreciated. We saw some great murals and learned a lot. My only suggestion would be for her to have given us more information on some individual murals. She would give us time to look at them on our own, but I really like being told about the artists and specific things to look for in the murals. That could be a personal preference, however, and others may prefer time to view them without commentary.

I constantly strive to match the level of detail with the level of interest of our guests. Looks we missed the mark in your case, so for sure I will be looking for opportunities to fit more specifics into our 90 min-2 hour tour and still cover the 4 mural packed alleys and handful of freestanding murals along the way!

Really a valuable guided tour. Without a guide, it would take much longer to view these murals and without the back story. My daughter and I learned a lot about the authors/ artists/ muraling history.

Great tour of street art in the RoRo District of Phoenix. Tour guide Lori Ann showed us many variations of street art as well as giving us background on the artists behind the works. She has a wealth of knowledge after 10 years leading tours and talking with the artists. Great 2-hour tour. Well worth the price.

Lori Anne was great, as she is expert on the subject of street art. We learned a tremendous amount and loved hearing about the history behind street art and its evolution in the Phoenix area! Make sure to take sun protection and water….it can get very hot and you’ll be in the sun most of the tour.

We do our best to find shade as often as we can--but this is street art--so---we are in alleys, behind buildings, and on sides of walls so that's just the way it goes. Lovely tour. It is a neat introduction to the area, a great excuse to walk around and enjoy the sun, and the art is well done. The length is perfect. The guide is incredibly-knowledgeable and knows most of the artists personally. She is also patient and kind.

Even with small tours like yours the range in picture taking and interest can vary greatly. While I try to keep the pace good for everyone, sometimes it requires a little waiting. Loved it! Lori Ann was excellent, so informative, and personal connection wih several of the artists. Nice walking pace, saw art we wouldn't have seen without a guide. Opportunities to use restrooms or refill water bottles. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing time on the RoRo Street Art tour with Lori Ann. She is such a kind and noble woman with a wealth of knowledge! I learned so much while on the tour. The tour operator gave an informative and extensive tour of Phoenix Street Art. Fascinating to hear and see the evolution/progression of street art from the 90's to present day. So much to see and appreciate, hardly enough time to absorb and photograph. Just stunning!

The tour guide was very knowledgeable & interesting, sharing personal experiences with the artists & sharing the history of the artwork. Although this tour was a two hour walk on a very hot day, she was very accommodating & created a pace that I could keep up with. Thete was one rest stop in a hotel but I think that there could have one stop to sit down & have a drink and/ or something light to eat along the way.

You are so kind to leave a review! I am glad you braved the day! As we approach summer we start to get teased with 90 degree temperatures which can be difficult for some. I appreciate the idea of have a longer break part way through to get a snack and rest. We are always looking for ways to make things better!
For those reading this review and concerned about the heat please note that that to accommodate a wide range of guests we actually go into 3 different establishments (as we did on the day of this tour ) near the beginning we enjoy a hotel lobby (10 minutes as mentioned) then about mid-way we go into the Churchill (5 minutes) which has restrooms, water and seating available and then towards the end we go into the lovely Bentley Gallery (with the exception of Monday's when they are closed) which has air-conditioning and seating available to those who desire it.
We also work hard to stop in the shade and start earlier when temperatures start to creep up. During the hottest part of the summer we pause our tours with the hope that our guests can be confident that we only offer tours that have the potential to be a wonderful experience for all involved!
Our guide is personally immersed in the RORO art scene so the information she shared is close to her heart. As such, she provided a fun and educational experience for tour participants. For anyone who wants to learn about street art & how it can transform places, do it!

Lori Ann did a great job of introducing the group to the RoRo neighborhood and the history of the street art in the area. I would recommend this tour to locals and out-of-town visitors to gain some inside knowledge of an interesting part of Phoenix.

We met LoriAnn in the designated spot to begin our Mural walk. She was very knowledgeable about murals & graffiti in that area of downtown Phoenix. She willingly answered all of our questions. She included extra experiences as we walked along including meeting some people painting a mural & showing us the Art Therapy Center. The murals were so interesting & she included facts about the artist’s & neighborhood.
We would highly recommend this tour & would invite our friends & family to take the tour.
