Patrizia was so lovely, she shared traditional Sicilian dishes, local wines and how to make limoncello with us in her inviting and charming home. It was a very relaxed and comfortable with just our small group (of 3). I was amazed by the fresh and delicious caponata, Sicilian pesto and fresh swordfish. We enjoyed her hospitality along with her insights to Sicilian history and culture. What a wonderful way to start our stay in Sicily with her personalized instruction. I felt like I was having a meal with a new friend.

This is a very special experience presented by Patrizia with love of the Sicilian culture and extensive culinary skills taught with particular attention to the skill level of the guests. From start to finish, this experience was great! We had Patricia as our host and she was so fabulous and welcoming! We got to walk through the local market and pick our ingredients for our meal and everything was so fresh and tantalizing…to die for! Patricia’s home was very clean and open and she made us feel as if we were all family. I don’t remember what we prepared, just that the wine was flowing along with the conversation and hospitality. I highly encourage everyone to sign up for this Sicilian experience!

Our evening with Sicilian Days was the highlight of our holiday in Sicily. My mum and I were welcomed into Patrizia’s beautiful home with the ingredients laid out and aprons ready to get us into cooking mode. Then we were shown how the local produce is transformed into a delicious meal. With Patrizia’s guidance we made authentic dishes and learnt about the variations, history and customs associated with the food. All of this was accompanied with great wine and nibbles, and above all wonderful conversation about life and cultures. We greatly enjoyed discovering and understanding the heritage and motivations of the average Sicilian, some of which were aligned with our own. Thank you Patrizia for a remarkable evening that will never leave our hearts. We would highly recommend taking away this real sovereign.

Fabulous night with delicious food, lots of wine & great conversation! Arriving in Patrizia’s home is like catching up with an old friend, she is so warm & welcoming. Together we made 4 typical Sicilian dishes that I’ve easily recreated again now I’m home. The actual cooking was simple enough for any aspiring cook but the results were delicious. Highlight of our time in Sicily.

We had an amazing time cooking and visiting with Patrizia, Giuliana, and of course Nino and Bella (the cats). It was like visiting with “old” new friends. The menu was perfect and delicious! It brought us back to home cooking with our Nonna!!
We didn’t take home a bottle of limoncello but, that was ok with us!
We will definitely be back to visit and cook again! See you soon Patrizia!

Our tour guide, Alex was amazing! He was as entertaining as he was educational!
We learned so much in such a short time, we could have enjoyed the entire day with him. I would positively recommend this tour! We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces!

This is not a cooking class and certainly not worth the price tag.
Overall disappointing, ignored by the host for long stretches of time in her home, no attention paid to the food produced. Recipes were promised and not provided.
No limoncello making or bottle to take home.
No history of the cuisine, very short market visit which added nothing to the experience other than carrying shopping bags.

Patrizia was warm and friendly. We met at the fantastic Capo market and decided on main course the selected and shopped for items for our meal.
We went to her aprrmenr to cook and discuss traditional foods. Our group was enjoyable. My family of four really enjoyed the experience. It was relaxing and delicious.
We also enjoyed the two cats!! 😄

Exceptional market shopping experience & Sicilian menu planning & cooking with Chef Patrizia. Watching Chef Patrizia interact with the market vendors & learning what to look for was magical. Chef is SO organized, keeping menu ingredients straight in her mind for purchase, communicate with 6 of us & navigate the market in a short time frame. Further, Chef Patrizia’s apartment layout is ideal for a cooking class. I cannot believe all we learned, managed to prepare & consumed in a total of 3 hours after shopping was complete. Chef Patrizia encouragers & offers confidence, making everything possible & look easy. Attending solo, I enjoyed self volunteering for the role as sous chef! I am prepared to return as an assistant anytime! Brava Chef!

We learned a whole lot we did not know or appreciate about why Sicilian cooking is loved the world over from our kind and cordial host. Patrizia was a fantastic host and a great teacher.
The market tour at the start was sensational, literally. We asked questions all throughout and Patrizia was great at answering them all.
We were so grateful to spend most of the time in her wonderful home, where she was a great host and made us feel very relaxed.
We can’t wait to try and recreate what we made when we get home, would thoroughly recommend!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. We met Patrizia at the market and walked with her as she got all of the ingredients for our lunch. We then proceeded to her apartment where she cleaned, prepared and dined with us. She explained all of her recipes as she went along. Of course wine was consumed during the afternoon. She is a great cook as well as an excellent host. It was fun to be in the home of a local person. Great experience had by the four of us.

This was a very fun evening with my wife. The class was small so that Gianna the chef and Patrezia the owner and mother of the Chef were able to give us Their undivided attention and they were so down to earth and very informative about Traditional Sicilian food. I am a professional chef myself and I wanted to learn more about Sicilian cooking and the food was beyond Amazing. We started out with a assorted Sicilian cheese platter then went on to making eggplant Caponata
Just fabulous! Then we watched the chef make a Almond and tomato pesto to put over Busiata pasta the sauce was Flawless and perfect.
Then we assisted with a veal
Spadini or Braciole so good!
Then Dessert was a pie that we were shown how to make A sort of ricotta cannoli filling and then it was put into a pie shell and baked in the oven I could not believe how good it tasted the filling Takes on a different texture after baking it.
To top it all off we learned the process of making Limoncello and even got to take a bottle home with us
All in all this was An Absolutely fabulous evening where they treated all five of us like we were their Family We recommend this to anyone who is coming to Palermo please go and enjoy their Sicilian hospitality
