Elisa was an amazing host! When planning out our vacation to Napoli, we wanted a cooking experience that was authentic to the culture and wanted to bring home knowledge for our families. Elisa was so sweet and made us feel at home. The ravioli was truly the best we have ever had. The tiramisu was refreshing, sweet, and delicious. My friends and I had so much fun cooking with Giovanni. We made parmigiana di melanzane, gnocchi, and tiramisu, and we enjoyed our meal with excellent wine. The food was amazing and we felt so welcome in his home. It was a lovely and delicious way to spend a Saturday!

This is a great experience! Emanuela and Maurizio are fantastic hosts in a beautiful home! I learned so much! Emanuela is very free with her knowledge and shared the history of dishes we made and offered advice on how to go beyond just what we made and how to amend the basic recipes to make even more wonderful meals! They have been doing this for 16 years, so they definitely know how to make things work! Emanuela is also very willing to adjust the menu to your desires, and coordinates ahead of time to make sure you are getting what you want. I definitely recommend this class to anyone that wants to learn some good, local cooking techniques and recipes!

I had the best time learning Napoli cuisine with Elisa. Getting there is a breeze by train, taxi or bus. When you arrive since I saw others have a problem finding it, I reached out directly to booking and with What’s App, Elisa promptly contacted me. She assisted with how to arrive and once arrival how to meet her as the address is to get you in the area. Once you arrive you’ll see Casa Lago, from there you walk on the right of that building where you’ll see 330; you turn right where the tire shop is through gate and she is the yellow building. You ring for to come up and she’ll direct you further. Everything was divine, very informative, thorough instructions how to make each dish. 3 courses, glass of wine and coffee to end it with. I learned a lot from not only the dishes but from the different areas of Italy. I highly recommend anyone wanting to learn new cuisine to book with Elisa. Thank you for great conversation and teaching me how to cook.

Emanuela and Maurizio are a very special couple. They invite you into their home with open arms and embrace you like you are family. My daughter, Kennedy, and I made three delicious courses, ( fried melanzana with mortadella and provolone, homemade ravioli stuffed with bolognese and tiramisu) that I will try to duplicate at home! Was not able to find location given by a Viator partner Cesarine. Was not contacted by host in WhatsApp per her request to clarify how to find residence once in neighborhood. The whole arrangement was a disaster! I am extremely disappointed!

Our title of this review says it all. Emanuela welcomed us into her home as though we were family. She shared her deep knowledge and skill of traditional Napoli cuisine in a way easily replicated at home. And, we have made a new friend. Among the many things done in our three days in Naples, this was undoubtedly the most beautiful. Emanuela welcomed us into her home with great hospitality and, before starting the cooking class, told us the story of Naples from her balcony with a truly breathtaking view. We cooked, dined and chatted together with her and her husband, two special people.
