Immersive and Unforgettable Journey Through History

An absolutely amazing experience! Alex had everything impeccably organized, making the entire journey smooth and stress-free. His incredible knowledge about Naples and Mount Vesuvius is only matched by his unexhaustible passion for sharing it. It was fascinating to learn from someone who truly loves what they do. Pompeii itself was absolutely stunning—like stepping into another dimension of history. The preserved details and the stories behind them were mind-blowing. This tour is an absolute must for anyone visiting the area. Highly recommended!

Visit Pompei without Google Maps

Pompei on a (very) hot day can be a challenging experience unless you have a guide who knows what to visit and how to get there - Google Maps does not cover Pompei, as far as I know. Our excellent guide was a combination of Wikipedia and Google Maps, except that she was much more sympathetic.

Traveling through the ruins of Pompeii

We were a bit disappointed when our pickup from hotel was changed to a meeting place also seemed a bit pricey since the admission tickets were not included. Once we traveled to our destination with our travel guide Chris we had a very nice tour of Pompeii with our local guide. She had a lot of interesting details of the ruins and history of events. Also having the headsets allowed us to follow along easily.

I actually missed the tour - I scheduled for my first day in Napoli and I did not prepare well. My bad. But, I rescheduled for another day (the tour was only on one of the days I was in Napoli) and took the Metropolitan train from Piazza Garibaldi, downloaded the app and audio tours and went at it on my own. I think I guide would have been easier, but if you cannot book the tour, there is an alternative and Pompei is a lovely, chill town as a break from Napoli’s energy and grit.
