Very great tour with Angelo! Was very knowledgeable about the whole city and made the experience extra fun. I would definitely recommend Angelo and this tour!
This is a must see if you are visiting Naples. Our tour guide Angelo Balzano was excellent. He had an awesome grasp of the history and knew exactly at what pace to move to make the most of our tour.

Frankie was awesome! Pompeii itself was incredible with the preservation and the history, but our guide, Frankie, really put the tour over the top. If you're thinking about visiting, definitely book this tour!

Go on a cool day, it is very hot up the hill. Anna was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour only covers part of the site so allow extra time if you wish to see all the site.

My Family and I recently toured Pompeii. I requested Frankie once we arrived at Pompeii. Frankie's knowledge and sense of humor was awesome! We "Follow Frankie" through Pompeii with no problems. Toilets - at start of tour we were told toilets were in a restaurant on left after we got off bus only to be asked to pay €1 in coin into machine. No issue with paying but had no cash. No toilet break during 2 hour tour either until the end

This is a fabulous tour. Very professional, welcoming and friendly. Angelo was our guide and he was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and accommodating and he really helped make the history come alive. Highly recommend this tour.

Started off with the driver not communicating with us, 30 minutes late, and when we called you could clearly tell he was upset. When we showed up he was on the phone yelling at someone. He finally loaded us up while we was still in the phone arguing with someone. We left late for our tour. Then once we reached Pompeii the tour guide was more interested in jumping from shaded area to shaded area without showing us any artifacts. It was cut short. We decided to explore on our own and the guide showed us 15% of Pompeii. We spent 3 more hours on our own exploring and seeing so much more Pompeii had to offer. Very disappointed when we were looking forward to such an amazing experience. And just to add to the frustration - our ear piece died at the beginning of the tour and we were unable to hear what little was being explained. The guide did not have any extras.

Next time you can buy an all day private tour not a 2 hours shared tour. on our group you are the only one who thinks this. Thank you
Wear comfortable and supportive walking shoes. You will be walking on uneven stones, marble, tiles, etc. The driver and tour guide were both friendly. The guide was very knowledgeable. Pompeii covers a huge area so don’t expect to see it all in one tour. Our guide did a good job of helping our small group imagine what life was like in Pompeii before it was destroyed.

Had an amazing day doing this tour. Our guide Frankie was an absolute pleasure to have, he was knowledgeable, observant and considerate of a guest that was having mobility issues and best of all he was funny. It was about 2 hours of walking and a lot of uneven roads/sidewalks/paths, etc so please be aware before booking. But I would give it a 10/10 and would recommend it to anyone. If you’re lucky enough to have Frankie as your guide, you’ll have an even more enjoyable day.

Great experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. He made it pleasant and interesting. It wasn't too long either which I was appreciative of, as this place is big and there is no way to see it all in just a few hours. For us it was enough.

Frankie was an excellent guide. He took us to the best parts of Pompeii in the short amount of time the tour covered. He was very friendly and spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about the area and Pompeii itself. The pick up location was not great for coming from the port as it was about a 35 min walk. Other than that, we had a great time!

Kudos to our tour guide, Francesca, whose knowledge of the history was extremely detailed and she made certain to point out many things that made the tour so memorable. I highly recommend that you take this tour with Franchesca if you want to really learn about the history of Pompeii

At first, you have to remember that there is a meet-up point, which meant you had to find your own way there. Once there, the guides quickly assembled us to get on the right bus to be transported to Pompeii. We arrived early enough to sit for a quick snack. Then we met Francesco, who called himself Frankie. This was a 3-hour guided tour. He kept us close to him, and he personalized every bit and reminded us that we have to imagine ourselves 2000 years ago! Those Romans, Mama Mia! Follow Frankie. (Was his signature saying, which we will never forget!) He was articulate and spoke clearly. So professional and yet so personal. I highly recommend this tour. Little time for any shopping for souvenirs, so get that out of the way when you first get to Pompeii. We were dropped off at the same meeting point and had to find a taxi fast so we wouldn't miss our ship's departure. This driver was excellent and got us there with time to spare.

Our tour guide Frankie was hilarious and very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed Pompei, so much bigger than expected and many parts in incredible condition. The tour was well organised but the transfer to and from the site was pretty poor. On the return journey the driver drove like a maniac, tucked about 2 metres behind an ambulance doing 140kph, which is too fast when the seat belts don't work and the driver was on the phone for the entire journey. I don't appreciate reckless driving when our lives are in their hands. Overall we would recommend but the transfer team need sorting out

He was so full of great information, and made this ancient city come alive with his stories and descriptions. His fabulous sense of humor kept us laughing all along the way. He is a true gem! Skip the line was nice but the tour was frustrating because we did not have much time to explore- the guide spent 95% of the time talking through the history, next to a wall or in an archway and then we would have "3-4 minutes" to see everything before meeting up again at the next far-away meeting spot. Others said he just "liked to hear himself speak." Comparing this tour to another one, I feel like we really missed so much of Pompei. We could hear this info AS WE EXPLORED, we did not need to pull over to the side just to listen only and not see.
The guide was also uncomfortably inappropriate with a young girl in the tour. Both she, her mother and the other guests were visibly put off by the way he spoke to her, especially regarding some nudity (making a very big deal out of her seeing a male artwork's anatomy) - it was cringe-worthy.
Frankie our guide was a star - Mama Mia!! very knowledgeable - funny and considerate
