Great experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. He made it pleasant and interesting. It wasn't too long either which I was appreciative of, as this place is big and there is no way to see it all in just a few hours. For us it was enough.

Frankie was an excellent guide. He took us to the best parts of Pompeii in the short amount of time the tour covered. He was very friendly and spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about the area and Pompeii itself. The pick up location was not great for coming from the port as it was about a 35 min walk. Other than that, we had a great time!

The tour was very well coordinated with the driver and the tour guide. Kudos to our tour guide, Francesca, whose knowledge of the history was extremely detailed and she made certain to point out many things that made the tour so memorable. I highly recommend that you take this tour with Franchesca if you want to really learn about the history of Pompeii

At first, you have to remember that there is a meet-up point, which meant you had to find your own way there. Once there, the guides quickly assembled us to get on the right bus to be transported to Pompeii. We arrived early enough to sit for a quick snack. Then we met Francesco, who called himself Frankie. This was a 3-hour guided tour. He kept us close to him, and he personalized every bit and reminded us that we have to imagine ourselves 2000 years ago! Those Romans, Mama Mia! Follow Frankie. (Was his signature saying, which we will never forget!) He was articulate and spoke clearly. So professional and yet so personal. I highly recommend this tour. Little time for any shopping for souvenirs, so get that out of the way when you first get to Pompeii. We were dropped off at the same meeting point and had to find a taxi fast so we wouldn't miss our ship's departure. This driver was excellent and got us there with time to spare.

Our tour guide Frankie was hilarious and very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed Pompei, so much bigger than expected and many parts in incredible condition. The tour was well organised but the transfer to and from the site was pretty poor. On the return journey the driver drove like a maniac, tucked about 2 metres behind an ambulance doing 140kph, which is too fast when the seat belts don't work and the driver was on the phone for the entire journey. I don't appreciate reckless driving when our lives are in their hands. Overall we would recommend but the transfer team need sorting out

Do NOT hesitate to book this amazing trip! So much fascinating history preserved beautifully. We were blown away at every turn. Frankie was incredible. He was so full of great information, and made this ancient city come alive with his stories and descriptions. His fabulous sense of humor kept us laughing all along the way. He is a true gem! Skip the line was nice but the tour was frustrating because we did not have much time to explore- the guide spent 95% of the time talking through the history, next to a wall or in an archway and then we would have "3-4 minutes" to see everything before meeting up again at the next far-away meeting spot. Others said he just "liked to hear himself speak." Comparing this tour to another one, I feel like we really missed so much of Pompei. We could hear this info AS WE EXPLORED, we did not need to pull over to the side just to listen only and not see.
The guide was also uncomfortably inappropriate with a young girl in the tour. Both she, her mother and the other guests were visibly put off by the way he spoke to her, especially regarding some nudity (making a very big deal out of her seeing a male artwork's anatomy) - it was cringe-worthy.

Our tour guide at Pompei was Frankie. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. For my husband and I this tour was a perfect amount of time (approximately 2hrs) at the site. If you’re really interested in archaeological sites this would not be enough time for you. If you want to learn some basics and hit some highlights this will be perfect!!

Went longer than expected, so plan for this. Unfortunately, the transportation back was horrible as they had a car break down and had to send another from Naples. This meant we were waiting an extra hour to get back, and the pickup spot has no seating unless you are eating at the restaurant.
However, the tour itself was immaculate. When our guide first said, “Follow Frankie!”, we had no idea the journey he would take us on. Frankie was so knowledgeable about every aspect of Pompeii, from the bricks and concrete used to the mythology and stories behind artwork. He made sure to take a path that kept us away from crowded areas and was very diligent in warning people about uneven surfaces. He was also hilarious, and has officially got me saying, “Mamma Mia!!”
What else can we say about Frankie? I literally cannot appreciate this man enough. He seems so passionate about the area and its history, and his laughter is infectious! Lowkey, I wish Frankie was my dad.

Frankie, the tour guide, was great but the company’s organization of the transport from Naples to Pompeii and back was a mess. Very chaotic, confusing and not well managed at all. When we arrived at Pompeii we were directed to wait 20 minutes, actually spend it (and our money, by extension) in a cafe when there was no need to go to a cafe. After the tour, the chaos left 8 tour group members (including us) without a van to return to Naples. We waited the better part of an hour for transport, during which time we were told we could sit at tables at the cafe to wait and were then told by the owner to get out. We had to stand outside the cafe for most of the time, waiting for transport.

Guests are transported from the Ramada near Piazza Garibaldi by van. Getting to the Ramada can be a little sketchy, but it’s not far from the station.
The driver is sure to crank the A/C on the trip to and from Pompeii. We were greeted but a very nice woman and provided clear instructions and tips. We were introduced to our tour guide, Frankie. Frankie was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable, happy to answer questions, diligent about keeping us in the shade, and did an amazing job of providing the context of what is being viewed. I’d be happy to “Follow Frankie” again.

It was an informative, fascinating overview of the story of Pompeii. Our tour guide Anna was highly educated, enthusiastic and mindful of the various members needs in her tour group. Her experience and expertise was faultless & her patience and sense of humour much appreciated.
The tour was a good length of time (we travelled from Naples), with the opportunity to continue your own visit after the tour. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone considering Enjoy Pompei.

Frankie was unbelievably entertaining and informative with great English which was helpful since we spoke 0 Italian! We had an absolutely amazing tour with Frankie. The whole experience was professional and well organised. We caught the 1 hr 10 min high speed train to Naples from Rome. Picked up on time by clean minivan at pick up site . Frankie was waiting for us at Pompei drop off point. What can I say about Frankie- his energy and passion for Pompei and infectious laughter made the tour a highlight of our trip for us. We learnt so much and he kept all of us engaged in our group including 6 teenagers! Dropped back to Naples with plenty of time for our return trip to Rome. A very easy day trip from Rome!
