Itinerary
Meet your guide at the port of Naples after disembarking from your cruise ship and then hop on the hydrofoil for the 40-minute ride to Capri. During the ride, enjoy the shimmering blue waters of the Gulf of Naples along the way.
Once in the main harbor of Capri, transfer to a comfortable minivan and head to Anacapri. From here, take an hour or so to do some exploring on your own. Take a boat ride to see the famed Blue Grotto, check out the Casa Axel Munthe for some great views, tour the eccentric Casa Rossa or visit Villa San Michele. Or, if you just want to relax, plant yourself at an outdoor cafe and just in enjoy a coffee or a cold beverage.
When the time comes, meet up with your group of travelers again at a local eatery to indulge in a delicious three-course meal. After lunch, go with your guide on a walking tour to the Gardens of Augustus, a lush hillside garden overlooking the sea. Chaotic tour. The extra of a guide nearly no benefit at all. The guide did not advise us what to do ; a british couple was left behind halfway ( were a little to late at the meeting point ).
Will advise my friends to book the excursion by themselves by just booking the ferry

Great tour guide Dominick who made coordination of several people look easy. He was courteous and knowledgeable about Anacapri and Capri. Most important, his recommendation to take a Boat Tour around the Island rather than going to the Blue Grotto was significant. The timing around the Island is 1 hour and therefore he assured that we get back to the thip on time. Very pleased with dominick.

A relaxing day in Capri. Villa Michele was worth visiting. We were lucky to visit an art exhibition by Salvatore Dali.

Fabrizio was the best!Friendly, helpful, patient, humorous, knowledgeable, resourceful on a very busy day.

The guide did the best he could. But he was trying to lead different groups of people in different directions which ate up time. No much time to explore. No time for Blue Grotto either

The Capri Excursion was outstanding. Excellent lunch as well.

Excellent tour! Guide was wonderful and we got to see and do so much. As we were on a cruise we were very grateful we managed to get earlier ferry tickets back to save rushing to get back onboard. Can thoroughly recommend.

This is a good tour. However, the tour company failed to realize another cruise ship had completely booked the 10:00 AM ferry to Capri, so we had to wait until 11:00AM cutting off an hour of our tour. We had been met at our ship at 8:30 so it was a very long wait. They should have pre-booked the tickets for our tour group, not wait until that morning to get the tickets. The young tour guide was not that into conducting this tour. He did an adequate job but no more. Arriving later than expected on Capri caused themt o have to adjust the tour. Because we had no leeway in our return time, the other older guide took us back to the port right after lunch and suggested we take a boat tour around the island, which we did paid extra on our own that was excellent. The older guide got us return tickets for the ferry and told us to make sure we were at the boat by 4:15. When we looked at the tickets after he left us, we realized there were for a later time. We panicked at first and stood in line at the ferry ticket booth to try to change them -to no avail. So having no choice or any contact for the local guides we just went with the tickets to the earlier ferry. Fortunately they let us on the boat but it was stressful none the less.

This was exactly the same tour offered by our Holland America cruise but for much less. The tour unfortunately left one hour later than the ship's and consequently made our return one hour later than theirs. Luckily, we just made it back in time because when the ship says be back by their sailing time, they mean exactly that!! Because we had grown up listening to our parent's Gracie Fields records, we had always wanted to see where she spent the latter part of her life. The time to get to Capri from Naples was one hour each way which I hadn't realized. It is a very beautiful island for the wealthy as everything is so expensive. The included lunch was poor and the can of Pepsi cost 4 Euros.........ridiculous!! Still, glad we did it. Thanks Viator.

Handicapped by people on the tour who were late.
If the tour knows there are members who are from a cruise ship, you cannot schedule a boat trip around

The information on where to meet was not on the voucher. We had to find someone at the port to help us. The guide was late to pick us up and his time keeping on the tour was terrible. We took an earlier ferry back from Capri as we did not trust the guide to get us back before the ship sailed. Our tour was to start at 8:45 and we did not catch the ferry until 9:30. Although Capri was super crowded, it was an okay experience. The Blue Grotto was closed due to waves and the lines were too long to do anything else. The lunch was okay, but not great.

Capri is a beautiful place but the organization of our tour leads a lot to be desired. Started with 12 people and grew to 42 with 2 tour guides. Never knew which tour guide we were supposed to be with. Didn't guide us to the Augustus Gardens so many did not make it. We were supposed to meet at 8:45 and leader was late. Caught 9:30 ferry to Capri but never got on minivan to Anicapri till 11. Unfortunately 2 hours were wasted when we could have been touring. Would recommend Capri but just not happy with our tour company experience. Since we had been to Capri before we could help the couple with us.

Fabrizio and Dominico were awesome tour guides and made sure we all saw the beauty of Capri!

Mainly just transfers, only very little background stories about the history or the island. Included lunch was an affront to Neapolitan kitchen. So transfer by boat was 40, on island lets say 20 in total and lunch was worth no more than 10... Leaves more than enough for the guides to explain a bit more...
MrMG_B, Nov 2015
The guide was a bit tied and not too enthusiastic.
Lunch was poor
Frank B, Nov 2015
The lunch was wonderful. The tour was great though seas too rough to see the blue grotto. It is a great way to see capri and take a shot at viewing the blue grotto.

This was a fine tour with a smaller crowd which we prefer. Though the tour was rather enlightening, our tour guide was hard to understand as he had a very heavy local dialect for our English speaking group. I would have preferred to have a more extensive walking tour in Capri but our time was abbreviated as we had a limited window to board our ship. We would have also appreciated a longer van ride further around the island to see more of the shoreline but instead, we were directed to take the tram back down the hill. In retrospect, a more extensive van tour would have been more appreciated. On a high note, the lunch stop was excellent!

We met the first guide outside the maritime port building. He escorted us across the parking lot to the right dock for the boat to Capri. He gave us our tickets and left, saying we'd be met by guides. The boat was fast and completely full. Arriving at Capri, we were met by Pepi 1 and Pepi 2, and the large family from Spain that comprised our group. We took off in the small vehicle to go up to Anacapri, and Pepi explained that we had the option to choose to see the blue grotto for an additional fee or not. The family went to the grotto, and we were left to be on our own for an hour and a half. We walked to the edge and saw the beautiful views and did some nice shopping. They escorted us to lunch, which was very simple, they took us to the lower level and we did some more shopping. I don't consider this an escorted tour per say... but they did facilitate the transportation and made sure we got on the right boat home.

Got to see everything we wanted. Visited Capri, had a great lunch and just thoroughly enjoyed the entire venture. The weather was great! Most importantly, our guides were always there to help and answer any questions. They made me and my wife feel secure and relaxed, which made the excursion that much better.

Our trip to Capri was Fantastic, The tour guide was very good and the scenery was so beautiful. We had an enjoyable time. Would highly recommend this tour.

Capri was beautiful but I probably would not take this tour again. We were met at the ship at 8:45 but our guides did not show up until almost 9:30. There were very nice but we felt like everything was a little fly by the seat of your pants Since we to take a ferry back and forth to Capri, we had to take the 3:30 ferry to be sure we were back on time. So we really had a 6 hour tour instead of an 8 hour one
Med cruise, Sep 2015
Started off unorganized. We were first to arrive at pier from our ship to catch boat to Capri, ended up being the last to board and at the bottom of the 3 level boat, awful trip over. Had to wait almost 1 hour to catch a bus to AnnaCapri due to amount of tourists waiting before us. We ended up having a good day, ending with a boat tour around the island, which was the highlight.
Kimberly D K, Aug 2015
Except for waiting almost 30 minutes for our tour guide this was a great tour. It offered more sightseeing in Capri than any of the ship's shore excursions and we were returned in time for our ships departure. If you take this tour I would highly recommend taking the chairlift in Anacapri. The views were incredible!!
astrid h, Jul 2015
Anna was so enjoyable.....all who met us were prompt and super nice!!!
Capri was wonderful and everything went smoothly!
The lunch, which was included was the best meal in Italy!!!!
Barbara H, Jul 2015
Loved our guide Dominco, the restaurant he took us to was first class and delicious. Enjoyed his knowledge of Capri, and his comments.
Mike P, Jul 2015
Capri was beautiful. The sights were very nice at Ana Capri and Capri. It would have been nice to go on the tram and shop in Ana Capri and we are so happy that we got to see the views at the garden in Capri.
Serge K, Jun 2015
The tour was nice! Our guide met us in the cruise terminal and walked us next door to the ferry terminal where we boarded our hydrofoil to Capri. There was a lot of walking as the group split up based on what people wanted to do. Some folks opted for the blue grotto while others went to Anacapri
marionperry47, Nov 2014
We loved this trip and Pepe, our guide, was great. However your write-up states the crossing from Naples is via hydrofoil; apparently there has been no hydrofoil there for 10 years. The start of this was very confusing. One lady met us at the terminal and walked us to the ferry dock where we waited for another lady to bring us tickets where we waited again until a man came over to take us to the ferry (we thought he was our guide). However, he told us when we got to Capri our guide would meet us. Luckily they put a sticker on our lapels so Pepe would recognize us. Even with the confusing start of this tour it was wonderful and I would highly recommend it. Disappointed we didn't get the hydrofoil trip, though.

We were dissapointed in this trip as we had to change buses all the time and hit many queues
Raymond E, Sep 2014
Paying for a tour then being sent on your own for periods of time is worthless.
Capri has become nothing more than a tourist trap.
The tour company representative who met us at the Port spent more time on her cell phone than listening to us tell her we wanted to return to the ship early to do local site seeing and shopping on our own.
There is nothing on Capri worth seeing other than the lift ride to the top of the island! After that your best bet is to return to Napoli.
