Itinerary

Climb aboard one of the open-air double-decker buses for an unforgettable introduction to Naples on a hop-on hop-off tour.

There are two routes to discover — Line A (Places of Art Tour), and Line B (Views of the Gulf) — with strategically placed stops in total between them. An entire loop on any one route takes about 75 minutes, and all tours stop at Piazza Municipio, so it’s easy to switch from one to the other.

Tickets are valid for 24 hours starting with the first use, and you can get on and off the bus as many times as you like during that period. Listen to interesting commentary about the city’s history and the things you’re seeing along the way. Explore Naples at your own pace.

This was a nice way to get to see many areas of Naples. We took both routes; easy transfer between the 2. Unfortunately, there was a major traffic problem on Route A (red). We were stopped for a long time. But it was near a market area, and anyone who wanted was allowed to get off, although it wasn't at a regular stop.

It is a great way to see Naples. One ticket allows you to do the A line and B line. This allows you to then decide what you would like to go back and see. Highly recommend.

Don’t go days of marathon

Do not plan to use the hop on hop off bus the days of the Naples Marathon. Buses did not start until 1430 which was after the marathon ended. We had to board of ship by 1730 so due to the marathon and long lines of customers we could not ride both routes. Could not cancel less than 24 hours before.

Save your money and walk

I didn't find that much value in Naples. There are only about 8 stops and we could have walked it. The audio translation cables are really inexpensive so half the time only one ear worked. The roof was on even though it was a really pleasant day so unless you were sitting right beside the side, you couldn't really see out. We have done HoHo tours in many cities but this city was really disappointing

Abandoned to walk back to ship in the rain

The initial bus portion was fine. We took a shuttle bus to the main tour buss and the tour was fine, thought it didn’t stop. When it was time to get off the bus and get back to the shuttle bus it was pouring. They decided not to run the shuttle bus to the ship. We had to walk with an older family member and a child in the cold and pouring rain. We never would’ve booked it if they would’ve been honest about not running the shuttle back. So many people felt stranded, especially those with young kids.

It is within walking distance from the ship to the meeting point. Can choose night the red and blue. One is in town the other up the shoreline. Both about an hour. Earphones were great and had a choice of languages. 6 of seven stops on both lines and hardly anyone got off most took it the whole way. When you get off one line you can get on the other. Just a bit if a wait at the starting point. After completing you can walk to a few restaurants and souvenir shops. A great price and at the end of our cruise we didn’t want to walk so much so we just rode

Hop on hop off Naples

Parts of the tour were really good and very interesting, but other parts weren’t as enjoyable. The narration was hard to understand at times, which made it difficult to follow along. Unfortunately, the traffic was miserable, and it really slowed things down — the tour ended up feeling much longer than it needed to be because of all the delays.

Napoli Sight Seeing Tour….A or B

Line B was an absolute gorgeous view of the Napoli coast line. Line A was a view of graffiti line streets. This was not a view to show “tourist” if you want them to have a great experience. There was quite the homeless presence along with street peddlers; however it did to appear safe to get off due to the obvious police activity.

Cool wind cool songs cool sights in Naples

What a great way to see the sights of the city. The guide was amazing! She really knew a lot about the city as a native and it felt special. Wonderful Italian music played through my earphones as the cool wind was blowing. Early tours I suggest as it was less people to contend with for top level seats. Only thing I didn’t really like is if we wanted to hop off to take a quick pick we likely would have to wait 20-30 minutes for the next bus. I rode another tour bus company and they made it much more personal to allow 10 or so minutes per scenic stop to grab memorable pictures.
