What are people saying about Milan

A bucket list experience!
Expertly presented, our guide, Sara, was amazing. Bringing history to life with the stories of inspiration and the influence of artists and the holy orders of the time. The painstaking restorations that have preserved these treasures for generations to see. Then, the reveal of The Last Supper! A must see for those who are Milan.

Easy to find guide in...
Easy to find guide in front of church. She explained some history and items about the painting. We then went through security and for our que. We entered the room and had 15 minutes to view the painting. That was a good amount of time. Guide spoke great English. I was satisfied with the tour.

Duomo with rooftop access
Our tour of the Duomo was wonderful! Even though it rained all day, which put a bit of a damper on things, we still made the most of it and had a fantastic experience. The tour was perfect and very informative, and we learned so much about the history and details of the cathedral that we never would have noticed on our own.
Our guide was engaging and knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts throughout the tour that really brought everything to life. Access to the Duomo rooftop was the cherry on top of the experience. Even in the rain, it was incredible to see the architecture up close and take in the views. It’s something that absolutely must not be skipped if you’re touring the Duomo.
Despite the rainy weather, the experience was memorable and completely worth it. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

I recommend
Amato was very sweet, and our bus driver Antonio was as well. I would really recommend this tour. I was apprehensive because I wasn't sure if it was worth getting a tour - but this tour was perfect. It would be very difficult to plan a day like this by yourself, especially last minute. The bus takes you to the perfect spots. And the tour is the perfect amount of "touristy". You don't feel like you are in this giant group the whole time, which was nice. The boat ride is VERY nice, a cute classic boat and the tour is the perfect size. What I loved was how the tour left you alone. Amato explained everything and then we got 1-3 hours on our own. There is SO much to explore in both cities. I was tired at the end of the day, but in a good way. You do a lot, but it is very organized so you are not exhausted- and I really think this entire thing would be very difficult to replicate yourself. It was worth the money because we got to experience so much

The tour guide was...
The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the Duomo, but also the city of Milan. Really helpful to have a tour and not just try to do it on our own. There was also a decent line for the elevator to the roof and this allowed us to skip the line. Highly recommend this tour.

Memorable Experience in Milano
I booked last minute to maximize experiencing the most of downtown Milano in a couple of hours. The walking tour with Bibi totally exceeded my expectations. Bibi’s wealth of knowledge as a historian and a local gave me a memorable experience of this beautiful city, pointing out major highlights and some hidden treasures only a local would know.
Her English is excellent. She was adaptable to point out areas that would interest me and is a pleasure to tour with. Thank You Bibi.

Milan highlights
Daniella clearly loves her job as tour guide. Her English is excellent. She is friendly, and educated about history and art. She shared the right amount of information. She allowed us to direct her so as to show us the things we are interested in. Very good value for a private tour.
I wish Viatours would indicate the meeting point clearly in the opening of the
ticket page. One needs to scroll down for better directions.

Lovely walk and food
Luca showed us around, talking us through the history of Milan whilst stopping at some great local places to try food. Luca was fantastic and engaging. Really fun to talk to and had some stories you dont usually find on tours which was very interesting

Small group experience of the Last Supper
This was the most expensive tour in our entire 2+ week trip in Europe. We were a group of 6, and we wanted a more personal experience to view this masterpiece, so we took a chance to sign up for this “semi-private” group tour. I originally thought we had the entire room to ourselves, but we were actually a part of 40+ people admitted into the room for the 15 min viewing time. Fortunately, the room was large enough, and our group of 6 did get a few minutes to view the painting on our own. Fiamma was our guide, although the tour was less than an hour, Fiamma was able to pack a lot of relevant and important information from the start — outside of the building (monastery & church) all the way to the painting itself. She communicated clearly, and was very effective in setting up and helping us get the most out of the short time we had. I appreciate her knowledge and through her guidance, I was able to make an emotional connection with the masterpiece — which was my biggest take away from this short tour. I wish I could linger longer though. But because of Fiamma, the painting was etched in my mind, to be revisited whenever I want — thank you! I don’t think that would happen without her guiding us to focus and see the many details and meanings behind the gestures, facial expressions, body positions and interactions among the characters. What a masterpiece it was!

Tasty Tour and Great Company
Our day was truly memorable thanks to our knowledgeable and funny guide, Armando. He tailored the tour to our preferences and was happy to spend extra time at places we enjoyed. The food was delicious, and we also learned a lot about the city and its history. Highly recommend, especially with Armando as your guide

Sylvia was a very good guide. The only STRONG recommendation I have is that they tour company needs to either provide water to make it easily available to purchase. We had one young man experience heat stroke and had to drop out of the tour because of the hot day, full sun and NO WATER for hours.

Leonardo: Fresco; What Fresco
Last toured some 15 years ago, this time was so much more interesting and fun. Guide had a great sense of humor, depth of knowledge and insights. Some of the best 15 minutes of Milan…the match to the Castle was filled with one-liners which made the time fly. Excellent afternoon.
