Very good but expected to do a lot more hands on cooking. I would have wanted to learn how to make the dough for the pizza we made, not just the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella topping.

Elena is a master chef and was such a delight! You can tell she is passionate about her craft and loves to share her joy of cooking with others! My husband and I were lucky in that it was just us two who signed up for the cooking class, so it ended up being private! And, since we were the first ones to sign up for the class, we got to pick the three items we wanted to make! We made bolognese tagliatelle, spinach ricotta ravioli and meatballs!! We learned so much, as Elena shared little tips along the way! She took photos and videos of us, so I could make a fun Instagram reel, and was just so sweet! Our meal was absolutely amazing!! The best meal we had in Italy, actually!! We left stuffed and had so many leftovers, we were excited to take it back to our hotel! We are now home, and I already purchase the exact automatic pasta maker we used during the class! We can’t wait to make our own pasta! A special thank you to Elena for her patience with us and expertise cooking! We highly recommend this cooking class!!

We had an unforgettable experience at this Italian cooking class! The chef was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel like all-star chefs from the moment we stepped into the kitchen. We learned to cook delicious fried zucchini flowers and crafted fresh pasta to create pumpkin-filled raviolis and fettuccine with Bolognese. The entire class was hands-on, informative, and so much fun. We left not only with new skills but also with full hearts and stomachs. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking to dive into authentic Italian cuisine!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! Our family of 4, including two sons 17 and 20 yrs, had the most fun. Chef Elena was so nice, gave step by step instructions, patient with our sons, and encouraged them to try. The food was absolutely delicious and we loved that we could choose the 3 recipes. We choose pizza, fettuccine with Bolognese sauce and Caprese Cake. I 100% recommend this class. You will love it!!

Cooking is not my thing but really enjoyed the time with Aurora. Meeting the Chef, host and teacher is part of the experience. Enjoying the cooking makes it a night to remember. We both come away from a delicious meal and an appreciation of Italian cuisine.

What a lovely opportunity to bring my family to the Team Cooking Milan experience, conveniently located within walking distance of the yellow metro line. Upon arrival, you should note the doorbell/unit buzzer says ‘coockling’ I think instead of cooking so we did make a safe guess we had arrived at the correct spot. Eleanor was the most gracious host and Chef. She took all of my families, styles, personalities, and tastes into consideration and encouraged everyone to dig in and learn to cook! (Especially my sons who are about to embark on their first ‘real’ jobs post university and far from home.)
Our dinner consisted of an introductory Prosecco, followed by clear step-by-step instructions for each of the various recipes. Our group started out, preparing the tiramisu dessert first (!), then the meatball prep followed, and finally, the eggplant Parmesan. Each person had a variety of contributions to the meal prep and beverages were always available and generously served throughout the prep and meal.
When dinner was ready, we excitedly dug in and enjoyed everything! I believe this meal was the best eaten of the our vacation!
Eleanor herself was lovely and an interesting and educated person. We enjoyed chatting with her throughout our visit. Upon returning to our hotel, we recommended this experience to our concierge for others to enjoy, and even chatted in detail about it with another family on the train today, along with showing them photos.
You can’t go wrong with this unique experience and it will definitely be one of the best highlights of your vacation!

How the chef lost her $#!+ when my husband broke an egg and it fell on the table instead of the bowl was the highlight of the class. All we could do is laugh but it was pretty unpleasant. You don’t pay for an experience to get yelled at. Canolis were amazing, gnocchi pretty good, ravioli filling excellent but ravioli dough was like plastic, rubbery and hard. Probably cause we should have added another egg and not have us knead the dough so much. But it was fun to make. Also there was construction going on in the building so it was really loud. My husband myself son and girlfriend really enjoyed the other couple in our class. We were supposed to receive our recipes in English but I haven’t received those yet. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the class based on our experience but maybe she had an off day.

We had a great afternoon, cooking lunch with Elena. We had a smaller group that included two children and Elena was able to pivot as needed and still help us learn to cook a beautiful menu of Gnocchi, Lasagne and Tiramisu.

Such a fun class! Easy to get to from the metro. We chose the ossobucco, risotto, ravioli, and cake. The teacher was great at explaining for novices and experts alike.

This cooking class was great! We made four vegetarian dishes and each was amazing. The eggplant parmigiana was a particular favourite! Aurora had great communication and organisation and we had the perfect night of wine, cooking and eating.

Was most excited for this part of our Milan visit. Elena was a wonderful teacher and made us feel like we had abilities to cook anything. She had the time management down and knew what portions were needed for each recipe for our small group. The tiramisu was by far the best I have ever had and the gnocchi was so easy to prepare. My daughters and I feel like we are pros in the kitchen. Highly highly recommend.

We arrived to a very plain environment. We were told we could have preseco later but had to start with water. When we asked for wine there was a great hesitation. The cooking was unorganized and the “teacher” was not very good. The final product was tasty, but we received not recipes to take with use. The experience was definitely not worth the price. Simple things would improve the experience such as given an apron, have bottles of wine available, access people’s skill levels. We also were never provided the opportunity to pick our 4 dishes to prepare.

Dear Michell, I always offer wine and aprons and prosecco. Maybe sometimes we do a cooking class in the morning and we give later the prosecco because at 10,30 in the morning it is a bit early. WE ALWAYS PUT WINE ON THE TABLE: one bottle every two people. You cannot have a bottle only for you If you do not receive the recipe because you did not leave the email address.I always ask for the email and sometimes the people do not write it. Then YOU DID NOT READ CAREFULLY: the first person to book the class can choose the recipes. About the skill level, this was not a private cooking class only for you, any way you cooked all and it was good. Best from Aurora
