A testament to engineering work completed more than a century ago, the train is still able to complete the cliff-clinging Bernina Pass on a route that now has UNESCO World Heritage status. Travel from Milan to Switzerland in the morning and relax on your coach journey to St. Moritz, watch the scenery change from windswept gorges and snow-clad glaciers to the chic chalets of St. Moritz. Our guide and bus driver were superb. The drive to St. Moritz was awesome with excellent commentary throughout. The views of Lake Como were spectacular. Angelo and his bus drivers were on point. Fabulous experience! So easy and everything was handled for us, all we had to do was show up and enjoy the amazing scenery. St Moritz was smaller than I expected and there wasn't much to do so 2 hours was perfect to grab some lunch and walk around a bit before getting on the train. I know the weather can make or break a trip like this. Our weather was amazing. I know you can't predict the weather. It would've been a good trip even if the weather wasn't as good. The mountains were stunning!

The whole day flowed smoothly - it was a long trip, but very worthwhile. A lot of time is spent sitting in transport of course - bus and train. But you see a lot from the windows, and you get to stop off in a couple of places. I'd definitely recommend this as a good way to experience the area.

It's great excursion, kind of lazy no walk excursion - apropx. 6 h in the buses and 2,5 h in Bernina Express train. Views from the train are spectacular, must see it.

This trip was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everything was very well organized and smooth, which made the whole experience so enjoyable. The Bernina train ride was truly breathtaking, easily one of the most beautiful journeys I’ve ever experienced! you can take the trip in any season because it highlights Switzerland in its own specific season
I really appreciated the convenience of the pickup and drop-off service, it made everything stress-free. A special mention to our driver Charlie and the guide, they were incredibly helpful, very friendly, and made the trip even more enjoyable with their support and knowledge.
All the stops were perfectly planned and gave us enough time to take in the views and enjoy each location. Overall, a truly memorable experience that I would highly recommend!!!!!

Wonderful experience . It was a long day but well worth it . Anna was our tour guide and Mauricio was the driver of us. .He is a fantastic driver driving up the mountains on narrow roads doesn’t seem easy but Mauricio did it effortlessly. Anna did a great job guiding , us and telling us the history in two different languages. She took great care of the group .

Check your pickup point , we could have been picked up from the latter point , which would have saved us an extra hour in the morning..
maybe ask where you want to be picked up from.
I would have liked an extra hour in St. Moritz..

To start with, the meeting point was easy to find and Guides were there to welcome us at least 20 minutes before departure. The tour bus was very comfortable and included power outlets to charge phones. Since this is a day long trip, it was extremely helpful to be able to charge the phone onboard.
The tour guides were friendly, informative but also respectful of down time during the 3 hour drive to St. Moritz. In St. Mortiz they provided us very clear information on what to do and when to reconvene to take the Bernina train. During the train ride, they were very helpful to all passengers with pointing out various sights as they approached, telling us what we could and could not do on the 2 hour + journey.
A bonus, our tour guides were very helpful to me and assisted me with securing a reservation at a restaurant that I was trying to contact and couldn’t get through to. Their kindness completed a very pleasant and enjoyable day !

Overall great experience. It was a good opportunity to be able to go to Switzerland. Our guide was Angelo and driver Javier. They were amazing especially Javier who was able to expertly navigate the difficult terrain.
We made the decision to meet at the start point at the Milan Visitor Center (Zani Viaggi). This is where the bus will pick you up and drop you off. Make sure you arrive before 7am. The bus will pick you up on the West side of the building directly across from a cafe called Café Olimpia.
You are not allowed to eat or drink on the bus but there will be a stop about 1.5 hours in where you can use the restroom and buy food/water. BE WARNED THERE IS NO TOILET ON THE BUS.
After the stop you will ride the bus for another 1.5 hours.
Arriving in Saint Moritz, you will have about an hour to explore the area. I would use this time to buy souvenirs or small eats. For food there is a marketplace at the train station that has various sandwiches, drinks, and hot foods. This is considered cheaper than eating at a restaurant (and will save you time)
Getting back you will ride a train for about two hours and it stops at 12 stations. Please do not get off the station. There is also bathroom on the train. We like this train because you are able to open the windows which allows for better pictures.
After the train you will take the bus back to either the central station or the visitor center.

Incredible experience. The views of the Alps were breathtaking. We lucked out going on a Sunday in February and were able to see horse racing on a frozen lake (yes, that’s a thing) during the White Turf Festival in St. Moritz.

This trip is not the red bernina train, you get a train that stops at all the stops & locals get on, they give out to you for opening windows to take photos, do not book it

The trip was amazing, the guide and the driver facilities the full tour very well.
There is a minor issue, there are no seatings , first come first served, our pickup was last and we were 3 we did not manage to find seats next to each other there were no empty seats in this trip at all. So imagine none of the 3 of us had a window seat nor were we next to each other. This was a major disappointment there should be a seating criteria.

I planned my entire trip to Milan around this tour. My hotel is apparently right next to the correct meeting point for this bus but I walked past that because it was not there yet. The directions to the bus stop/meeting point are not extremely clear. So I walked to the side of the station where there were many tour buses. The guide I spoke with there told me to go to the opposite side of the square. Which I did. I stopped to ask the military men in front of the station where the meeting point was and they didn’t know from the directions give to me either. They were clueless. So I finished walking to the other side of the square and found buses there but they were the buses to the airport. I walked around the station again finally found a police officer that knew where to point me but it was then 07:55 and the tour left without trying to get in touch with me. No call no text no communication. I did message the tour operator through this app asking for more specific directions or a number to call so I could find the bus and there still has been no response hours later. I found a number to call and the man I spoke with said oh sorry they left already but the office doesn’t open until after 08:30 you will have to call back then to speak with someone else. I called after 08:30 and spoke with a lady that said they could book me days later, which I will already have left Milan at that point. Then said we can’t refund you. You just need to message through the Viator app. I’ve been on many tours through this app and I’ve never once been late or missed a tour until this one and I tried my hardest to get in touch with anyone that could help before I got left. It’s a hefty ticket I bought myself for Christmas and the only reason I came to Milan and I didn’t get to enjoy. So if you decide to book this Mae sure you know exactly where this pickup location is WAY in advance because you won’t be able to get any help (and it is not where the other buses are).

Our guide was not understandable. The coach was in poor condition with broken trays and handles and no lights above the seats during evening drive. The explanation about the tour on the website is misleading. We took a commuter train instead of dedicated tour train through the Swiss Alps. The bus driver stalled the bus twice on our trip to St. Moritz. This was not a very professional experience for such a well respected and trusted company. Our entire party was very disappointed.
