Overall the experience was wonderful. The entire staff was thorough in the instructions ( pay attention to it !) and we loved getting to see the city from a different perspective.
The gps did pause a few times , but the team quickly calls you to tell you to turn around. We also accidentally shut off the system , and the team drove to us within 10 minutes to help out.
Don’t expect to drive like formula 1, they are slow golf carts but the local drivers are nice about it.

Thank you for an exceptional time. Without a doubt, this was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend. The concept of the guided tour through a GPS and a recorded 'tour guide' is brilliant. It gives you all of the highlights and allows for taking a tour at your own pace. Customer service was second to none and Kris, the purveyor went WAY out of his way to take care of us. I hope he brings the process to other cities and hopefully to the US. I'd go again. The only caveat is this: if you are not experienced driving on the left side of the road, take your time.

The title infers an electric car - it’s not - it’s a painfully slow golf cart that will be sure to clog traffic wherever it goes. Our equipment didn’t work without reboots and confusion which just took away from what could have been enjoyable. As long as you are aware of these issues you should have a decent time. We have it 3 stars for the equipment and the car assigned.

Sorry for that but i have a small remark to it!
Yes its a golf car and not a Porsche and after 12 years of operation all the citizens know exactly that you drive max 20 km/h. Why ?for your safety and also so that you will see something on the way because you drive in an open museum and not on the highway.
The cars are in good condition and yes your gps fell out twice but we have been very fast with you to help you out ! Big Brother was all the time there!

Great way to see the sights, and fun too. You follow a preset route programmed into the sat nav which is co-ordinated with informative commentary. The navigation system has an integrated phone so if you accidentally get lost the company base (who is monitoring your progress) will call you and tell you where to go. Or if you want to talk to them you push the button and they are at the end of the phone. Brilliant concept. The owner was amazing, we got lost at the end, so we went back to base and to ensure we didn’t miss some of the experience he guided us around by leading us on his motorbike and us following in the buggy. So kind of him. I would definitely recommend this experience.

Such a fun way to experience Malta! Instructions were explained well and we felt safe the entire ride. The GPS map is incredibly helpful and takes all the guess work out. For any issues, the main office answers your phone call immediately.

This was a great experience and we had fun. I highly recommend this activity - it allowed us to slow our pace down and not only see many sites and views it took us through local areas and neighborhoods so we could see a side of every day Malta that many tourists miss. This is a 10/10!

Great fun clear briefing nice people.
My only concerns are that is a bit intense on the driver with main traffic quite busy and some very narrow lanes. There are loads of spread bumps and you all feel pretty shaken by the end

I am verry surprised about your comment concerning main traffic! You are driving like in a small village with not much traffic at all! Narrow lanes of course because that's why we have choosen the golf cars so we can drive in the medieval streets and you see much more than many tourists ever can see Thats the concept !!
We also told you that the driver has to take sometimes a break to have the possibility to see the beautiful sites and not driving constantly

This was an awesome tour. Great way to see the three cities. Very scenic, plenty of photo opportunities. Rolling Geeks were so easy to work with and extremely helpful.

A fabulous way to spend an afternoon. Helpful staff and support on the whole journey. We got to see parts of the Island and learn about the history that we wouldn’t have otherwise seen/known. Remember your sun screen and drive slowly. 😃 Fab and we recommend.

This was one of our favorite things we’ve done the whole vacation!! The staff was wonderful and fun. But I DO want to make clear to everyone that you WILL be driving (I read “self driving car” that “does all the work” to mean a car that drives itself). Malta drives on the LEFT SIDE of the road so if you’re American like me, that will take some getting used to.
But we had so much fun and we’re glad we did it!

The 'car' guides you along a stunning route around the three cities with plenty of opportunities to stop for photos or refreshments. Lots of support from the team back at base if necessary. Ability to take selfies via the cars app. We had two cars for five people and loved following each other along the route taking photos and having a good giggle.

They were ready for us and knew all had to get back to the ship on time. We had beautiful weather too!! Favorite part was the narrow road among the homes and other buildings. Only negative was the roof blocked view. Great experience!!

The electric car was easy to drive and the audio GPS was VERY helpful. We explored the 3 cities at our own pace and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The staff is eager to help make your experience memorable and the price was very fair. We highly recommend this experience

Lots of fun, enjoyable experience to see parts of Malta you wouldn't see if walking Would recommend. Staff friendly and buggy instructor was clear on how to drive buggy and follow Sat Nav.

This was so much fun! The experience was far more than we expected and the opportunity to drive on the left side of the road, in itself, was a treat in itself. The tour is well narrated and so informative about Malta's rich history. We got to see some hidden gems that we would have never explored had it not been for Rolling Geeks. Great fun taking a guided tour yourselves. The Rolling Geeks were very helpful and maintained contact and advised where you should stop to get great views. Driving is fairly easy without too much fuss from other motorists that you can only go 20 miles an hour. Roads not great though and with limited suspension prepare yourself for a bumpy ride!!

I would be careful booking this tour. It is exactly as advertised and the staff was very kind and helpful but for the average American tourist you should really consider your driving abilities before signing up. You drive a golf cart on very active and regular roads and the difference of direction and limitations of the buggy can make it a very stressful experience. The navigation and layout of the cramped narrow roads as well as the sharp turns and frustrated local drivers can be very harrowing to the unprepared. The staff was great at calling and providing direction when we were lost but I personally did not enjoy the experience and wanted it over quickly. The narration likewise was difficult to follow when you are so focused on survival. If you are up for a thrill or very confident in your driving I think the staff was wonderful. But if you are at all hesitant or want a stress free excursion I would highly caution you to let someone else do the driving for you on your tours!

Dear Kristina thx for your review but i have some comments! First of all you are used in America to drive on big roads compared with now small medieval roads here in Malta. Thats a big difference! Secondly the roads are very calm and not much traffic + you have in every country the young drivers who have no patience to drive behind a slow driving car. The tour is only possible to do in these small cars so you can see the three Cities in full detail and that's the concept + during the briefing we tell every client to stop as much as possible at different locations to better enjoy the sites.
Probably you were driving all the time and never took the time to stop. When i visit a museum i also stop walking several times to see better the art and not running thru it.
This tour is impossible to do it with a bus what could be less stressful.
Its a pity you didn't enjoy like many others love it.
