Great experience. Good explanations by guide. Good ac & seating and view. But need to clarify departure time options in advance. Also boarding ramp unsteady for handicapped.

They gave us the wrong location in front of a store that was pretty far up the road. We asked a few people on the street who kept saying it was a ways away. It took an hour to get it right and by the time we figured it out we were frustrated and didn’t get seats outside.

A nice way to discover Valletta and the 3 cities from a boat trip in the port of the capital. The trip effectively lasts 1h30 approximately with comments in several languages explaining a bit of context of the key points. My recommendation would be to take a seat at the front right.

Recommend boarding as soon as allowed. We boarded 30 mins ahead of departure, all
seats around the edge of the boat were taken, some by others “bagging” empty seats for friends still to show up.

A scenic enough tour, but there were problems. No time was given when booking, so I had to ask. We were given three time slots and were told to arrive 15mins early. We arrived in very good time but were held at the gate so a coach load of people could get on - despite having tickets! Luckily, they let us on (others were not so lucky) and they departed 20mins before the actual time. Commentary was interesting but minimal and the French commentary was much more detailed than the English. When booking, the opportunity to get off and visit the science centre was mentioned, but never materialised in the trip (which did not bother us, but would have if we planned to visit it!)

Avoid booking with Viator.This Cruise was cancelled without any prior information . Still waiting for a response regarding the refund.

They canceled with no notice. Did not respond to mine or Vaitors messages. They also would not answer the phone. Now I’m fighting for a refund.

We have no pending refund requests. If you bought through Viator, then you need to apply through Viator for the refund. if you bought through one of our reps or sales points, then write to our customer care email together with the tickets and we'll refund you in full.

Booked at 10am for a 12.30 sailing on the same day. Once we got to the harbour discovered the sailing had been cancelled due to the weather. I’ve emailed viatour for a refund but had no reply. Lesson learned to book direct in future & not thru a 3rd party

The tour was nice, but the time was cut short. This was suppose to be a 2hr tour. The tour only lasted 1:15 minutes. This also included the time to driver took to pick up his child at another dock, that was not apart of the tour. The tour was not as noted in the description. It was nice seeing the three cities, but It should have been more detailed. It seems to have been rushed, to get the next load of tourist. Not happy with it.

Thanks for the review. It's a 90 minute tour as specified on all our platforms and brochures. There is a stop at Esplora (science museum for children) which we do only when the weather is perfect, as it's very tricky to stop there. No one picked up their child or anything of the sort - just a normal passenger. Thank you anyway for the feedback

There's no open top deck, it's a bit like being on a ferry, the top deck is only open on the sides but no seats at the front, if going again I would choose a smaller boat to see Valletta.

Sorry about your experience. The departure point is in Sliema as stated on the tour details; since you disembarked at the cruise port terminal you would have needed a bus / taxi to get to Sliema. Of course, if you did not do the harbour cruise in the end please select the refund option through this portal.

It was good slow paced sightseeing of three cities. The highlight was the bumpy ride when entering Valletta because of high tides. It was so much fun.

Probably on me since I did not read the full description I did not much enjoy this. The trip is 20% cruising, 70% hiking alone the volcano and 10% swimming in hot springs. I wish there was a swimmable beach or swimming by the boat at the volcano site but you're stuck waiting for the hikers, either at the dock or on the boat. The hike down those old port stairs really was not worth the experience. I slipped on donkey poop 4 times :). Thank goodness for the rail on the way back.

...we went on a trip with several school classes. It was so loud that you could not understand a single word of the audioguide. Maybe it makes more sense for school classes to have a trip more for them / more suitable for children? Or someone from the crew could have said something to calm the children down or ask the teachers to ask the children to be quiet enough for everyone to understand something? It was just very stressfull and loud. I am sorry for not being able to say anything else.

The aircon was nice. I really struggled with the accent of the person doing the commentary so I don’t know what they said. It’s a large commercial boat. Some people would probably love it. Much of the harbour isn’t actually that nice and I would’ve liked to be closer to the water.
I would have been interested in the information but I couldn’t make it out unfortunately through the combination of the accent and th sound system.

The boat is of good quality, good quality seats and the commentary is good. The only downside is that the roof of the boat, although it does provide shade, does obscure the view somewhat. The ticket also said that there would be a stop at the science centre but the boat never stopped there. All in all though, it was a lovely way to spend 1.5 hours to see the sights.

Thank you for the feedback. Re the stop at Esplora, yes I understand however as you would have seen for yourself, it's not easy to dock at this landing. So when the weather isn't perfect and there's a swell the captain doesn't stop there. This is mentioned on our brochure and our reps are fully aware of this also. We spent 1 hour 25 minutes travelling to the meeting point by bus only to be told when we arrived that it was cancelled. To say we were annoyed is an understatement as neither the tour operator had let us know this even though i had tried to contact them the evening before and they had not informed Viator it was cancelled. So the only review I can give on this is for a terrible experience.

Fabulous views of Malta from the water and the commentary was quite informative. We had a seat on the top deck and really enjoyed the ride because the weather was ideal. Our only complaint was that they oversold the tickets so, even though we had a ticket for the 10.30 trip, the boat was full and they wouldn't let us on. Had to wait 1 and a half hours for the next boat...and even then, people were pushing in front to get on. They really could have a more organised system of ticket sales, and getting people on and off in a more orderly fashion.

The trip to the best of our investigation no longer existed!.
We arrive and there was no sign of the boat or operator - another outfit told us they had stopped trading. So we paid, travelled to the dock and nowt.

A con??? It's rough so the harbour cruise did not operate. Very simple. You can go on another day or claim your full refund using the Viator refund function.
