A step back in time

What an amazing place Mdina walled city is. Incredible history and the fact that people are still living within its walls, descendents of previous owners. Wayne brought the whole city alive. His talks were comprehensive and lively. Being a local, he brought to life what life was and is like. He continued on to Rabat, a younger city and we concluded with the catacombs and their incredible story. Wayne was an excellent guide, being a local, he knows all the stories. He certainly brought the cities alive for me.

An Absolute Must Do!

What a great day! Very organised, with a very warm and welcoming crew. Swimming in the Blue Lagoon is an absolute MUST! (make sure you go down the slide too) . We did not get off the boat to visit Gozo, but probably 90% of the boat did, which meant we had a good few hours of a quiet boat, also allowing us more time to swim in a much less busy Blue Lagoon. We had got the mandatory free beach passes before we travelled, but personally, it was not for us.......it was extremely busy and crammed with people. There were lots of food and drink stalls, but the food and drink on the boat was very reasonable and also very good. We literally stayed about 15 minutes before we got back on the boat, where we could jump in the Blue Lagoon from the relative peace and quiet of the boat We took the speed boat ride, which was great fun, but the Captain does visit all the spots on the return journey. However, the smaller boat allowed us in the caves, and the benefit of the driver who gave us good commentary also. Crew were very happy to take pictures for everyone as well, which was great. All in all, a great fun day at sea Thank you Captain Kevin and the Hornblower Crew!

Nicholas was great and...

Nicholas was great and easy to work with. His boat was great and we had the whole place to ourselves. The lagoons were quite busy so he made sure we found some quiet lagoons for us to swim in away from the crowds made it very memorable. This was seriously worth it! Gloria is an experienced guide, with all of the proper equipment and instructions. She made everyone feel welcome, even those that hadn't snorkeled before. She just sent us our pictures, and how cool!! Such an extra nice touch that you wouldn't get on just any snorkel tour.

Fun had by all

I’m so glad I did my research and found this company to book through. Everything went smoothly and we were well informed leading up to the trip and even on the day. First time our children had been on a speed boat and they loved it, I couldn’t stop them from jumping off the platform on the front of the boat. We had a cooler filled with ice on board so we took snacks and drinks and our skipper even had a speaker which was good fun. Our skipper was great too! Very chilled and very informative. I would highly recommend.

Great boat tour option

This was a vacation highlight for us. We took 8 on the sunset four hour cruise including a few teens, young adults and adults. We all enjoyed it. The boat was more comfortable than we expected with lounge chairs instead of traditional rows of chairs. It was a pool party atmosphere at the first swim stop with swimming off the boat. Most people did general swimming, not snorkeling. Probably too many people together to see any fish anyway. The boat slide was fun, we all tried it. The second stop at Blue Lagoon was a really nice space for shallow water swimming. You need to reserve a landing pass, it is free, the boat company sends you a link. You can order food from the boat company, but I wouldn't bother. There were plenty of food stands to buy food at Blue Lagoon, they were not too expensive. Drinks in a pineapple shell were very popular. There is a public shower at Blue Lagoon to rinse off. The scenery throughout was beautiful and well worth seeing. Blue Lagoon would not be very accessible for handicapped, lots of steps.
