We booked a full-day tour with Chris and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Over six hours, he took us to an impressive range of sites: the Three Cities, Marsaxlokk, the Blue Grotto, Ħaġar Qim, the Dingli Cliffs, and the Mosta Rotunda. We'd already spent two days exploring Mdina on our own, so Chris cheerfully adjusted the itinerary without any fuss — exactly the kind of flexibility that makes a tour feel personal rather than packaged.
Chris is warm, easy to talk to, and genuinely knowledgeable about Malta's history and culture. He introduced us to Maltese coffee and pastizzi, which was a lovely touch and felt like a real glimpse into local life. He was generous with time at every stop — we never once felt rushed.
The vehicle was comfortable and spotless, and Chris's driving was smooth and confident throughout. We felt safe and well looked after from start to finish.

The fact that Chris has 128 previous reviews with 5 stars says it all. What more can we add? He is the perfect guide who just knows how to give you the best experience from the pre tour communication, the flexibility on the day to the knowledge about the places you choose to visit. He doesn’t overwhelm you with facts but enough to get a real flavour of his country. His family dates back to 1500s….
Chris stopped on the way and spontaneously bought us local strawberries and local warm. date pastries. What a nice touch. We didn’t stop for lunch, just a quick pastrizzi, too much to see and do. Totally recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough about our experience on this tour with our guide Chris! Before we even met, he was incredible responsive and proactive at planning our tour to make sure we had a great day. He picked us up from our accommodation and quickly jumped into explaining about Malta history, culture and more about our schedule for the day. He made sure we had time in each location to really take in the area and he was also patient when I was falling behind to take pictures. He was incredibly friendly and made our day so much better. We visited places on this tour that we wouldn’t have even thought to go on our own. We saw so much in just 5 hours and felt like we made a friend along the way. This was honestly the best tour we’ve ever had! Chris was amazing from start to finish — super friendly, patient, and really attentive to everything we asked for. We had a few specific places we wanted to visit, and he made it all happen without ever making us feel rushed.
He shared a lot of interesting stories and local tips along the way, which made the experience even better. And when we mentioned we wanted to grab lunch, he suggested this great little restaurant near the Blue Grotto — it was absolutely perfect!
You can really tell Chris loves what he does. He made the whole day fun, easy, and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Totally worth it — I’d recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!

Chris is the best! My husband and son had to sit this one out because they weren’t feeling their best. Chris treated my son and I like family. We forgot our towels for a boat trip we had separately booked and his lovely wife handed us some as we drove bye.
He took us everywhere we wanted to, gave us maps and tons of information. You have to enter sites without him but he tells you all the things before. Definitely felt like family. Thanks Chris!!!

We did this tour as part of a cruise shore excursion. This was the highlight of our trip. Chris our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and adjusted the itinerary to suit things we wanted to see. ALSO, we were looking for a place to do laundry while in port, and he coordinated with his mom who did a suitcase's worth of laundry for us for a very reasonable extra charge. Couldn't say enough good things about the experience and attention. Highly recommended.

First off we came in sick due to the extreme cold from the Tromso Northern light hang over. We stayed at the Cumberland Hotel and thankfully 2 things was for us on the right side of it. Chris had manage to check for us for a doctor available and waited for us to be pick up once the doctor visit was over.He never counted that as the time alotted as part of the tour. And he helped to wheel those heavy bags uphill to the hotel with the hotel staff Omar both on arrival into Malta and out of Malta Cumberland Hotel. So if you can imagine which so call tour guide will do that? Not for Chris. He waited tilll I have seen the doctor and also made sure all is well with us. This is what Chris did he ran out of the way to help us. The personal touch by most tour guide is make money and call it a day. Not with Chris. His hospitality is amazing bar none.
Fantastic simple no frills tour. Chris a very soft spoken family man and a Catholic. Most of Maltese are Catholics henced they have a huge number of churches throughout the island.A very meaningful tour to all of the churches but to really cover all of Malta is nearly impossible in 1 day. So you need to book with Chris for 3days as there is another island where you can hop on with Chris to make the necessary arrangment with him. This trip was for me and my son. More for a prayerful moment at churches. Broadly speaking, we were taken care of very well indeed. Chris had made the time available to pick us up at the airport for a small fee and also to send us back for our next departure from Malta.We were traveling with huge 4 bags for a 20days world wide trip. Ah yes please enquire from Chris for the best food in town. Yes believe it or not he made the necessary arrangment for us to have our lunch at a very quiet restaurant near the sea coast. Very beatiful indeed. Forget about those big buses private tours. Trust me.when I say this is really a private tour with Chirs for a good family of 4.Check with him if you need a bigger vehicle for a larger size family.Don't brush him off just yet if you need a bigger vehicle for larger family. By the way this is one of the nicest guy on the planet. Can you believe it I had ran out of toothpaste and though I could get one.Chris took the trouble to get one for me the next morning before my departure. What an awesome guy. Seriously I will be back again in Malta and perhaps in a not so rainy season. Thank you Chris for the wonderful hospitality.

I had a really great day thanks to Chris who was really flexible with the schedule and I had fun and interesting conversations with. Communication was great even before the tour started, first on Viator and then on Whatsapp. Everything was as planned beforehand and I could visit all of the places I wanted and also learn about Malta and its history from a knowledgeable local.

Chris’ tour was our favourite thing about Malta. From the moment we met him, he was kind and welcoming. As we had no preferences where to visit other than to get an idea of Malta as a whole, Chris took us on an informative, interesting and relaxing tour of the island. He is very knowledgeable about history, and we really enjoyed chatting with him on a personal level. All around an incredible tour, with a great guide. Highly recommend!

We got lucky with Chris. He is extremely knowledgeable and hospitable. From the beginning he communicated promptly with us about the itinerary, arrived ahead of time and everything was clear. A true Maltese experience.

I can’t say enough good things about Chris. When you book with him he is upfront and tells you he is a driver, and not a licensed tour guide. But don’t let that deter you, as he will give you a full explanation of the history and culture of Malta as if he is a licensed guide. He asked what we wanted to see and customized our drive to fit those needs/wants. By the end of the tour, we felt we had been driven around by a friend. We will always have warm memories of Malta because of Chris. We wish him and his family the best. Highly recommend!!!

Chris was a fantastic tour guide. I asked him to take us to a few of the towns that my ancestors lived in several centuries ago as well as the important sites in Valleta, and he did an exceptional job with that. He also took us to places for great photos. I highly recommend this tour.
