This is such a cool place for a day out. Make sure you are there for either 11am or 2pm as twice a day they let you take part in acting out some scenes, they film it and play it in their cinema on site and you can by the video for €5. It was the highlight of the day and trip for us.
Beware the entrance into the set it down a steep hill and the exit the same way. I did see a van driving into the set with people who had mobility issues but not sure how that was booked.
Definitely worth a visit and such a bargin price as well.

Exactly as it says on the tin. The movie set from the Robin Williams Popeye movie. Loads of great photo opportunities, the characters were very friendly and happy to interact. Been over 20 years since our last visit and it still puts a smile on your face.

Fantastic experience with lots of fun activities such as watching a documentary about the film set, taking part in a short acting set, swimming, mini golf etc. Lots of food options and staff are very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!

We considered this trip well worth the money. Plenty to see and do although it’s not a theme park. A few wee shows with the characters, lovely views, private cove and pool and lots of cabanas included. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

What a great little place. I had a a lovely three hours here. I got the bus, which drops you off right outside. It’s not massive, which is great under the Maltese sun. There’s free popcorn in the cinema that you can eat as you watch a short film about the making of the movie and free guided tours also with some information about the movie. There’s also shows put on about every hour with songs and short sketches from the movie. The staff were very friendly and the characters will let you take as many photos and selfies as you want. Prices for food and drink are very reasonable. It’s definitely a place to go to see in Malta and great for all ages.

The most memorable thing was that our kids and we, have fun in the popeye village! We laughed, we took photos, we watched a show with popeye characters, we breath fresh air there. We saw the magical view to the sea.
