Very knowledgable candle shop owner! He was a very personable instructor and we enjoyed talking with him and learning. We had a great time and loved the location in Bardstown. It was so much fun!! The store is set up perfectly with all kinds of cute and useful candle making and soap products. Highly recommend this experience!!
Great experience, short experience for the hour we rode to get there. The instructor was friendly. She even mailed our candles since we were on bikes.
Definitely good, but felt a little rushed. I enjoyed making my candle, but I felt like it could have been more of an experience. There were drinks available and it could have been more of a step by step class. Only took about 20-30 minutes. I appreciated the variety of scents and jars available and the location is super cute and fun for pictures. The store is nice too.
Had to wait an hour to pick it up, so I grabbed some food nearby and enjoyed downtown Bardstown, which was great.
This was really fun! We loved the whole experience and now we each have a great smelling candle to take home as a souvenir. Would highly recommend!
Quick and easy activity to do with family. The scents were really enjoyable and the experience would also be good to do with a friend group.
Pouring your very own candle is a very fun experience. Especially with how much we learned about candles and how great of a conversationalist our teacher was. Highly recommend for small groups or date night.

The people were nice and friendly. I was the only one in my group so it went fast. I enjoyed myself and the space they provided. It was clean and everything started on time!
There are about 30 scents to choose from, and you can choose up to 2 different ones for your candle. They have a wide selection of jars to choose from, and walk you through each step of the process. Some of the process has been simplified in that you dont have to worry about measurements of the scent to wax ratio and all of that but it was fun overall with friends. You do have to let the candle sit for at least an hour while the wax firms up before you can take it home but there are some shops near by to kill time.
This was awesome! Steve was so nice and very informative about candle making. We had such a nice evening talking to him and spending time together. His soap store is also incredible! I highly recommend this experience!!
It was a fun solo day. Steve was amazing very insightful on the candle making process. But definitely do again and recommend people to do.

I was in Lebanon, Kentucky just for about 24 hours and looked up "things to do near me" and found this amazing gem of a place!! What a great experience I had with the owner Steve, as he ran a candle-making class, showing how to choose and mix a variety of scents, setting and pouring them into my choice of jar options. Steve was very friendly and knowledgeable, and went at a slow pace when necessary to answer questions and give advice. I would recommend "Making Good Scentz" for something new and fun to do for 1 person up to a group of 15 people! Bring your friends and enjoy a great activity as a group! (They also offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well during the class for purchase.) I'm super excited and can't wait to smell my creation in the comfort of my home!!
