Exactly what I was looking for - lots of unnoticeable gems (buildings/alleys and other) with interesting history. Paul provided good historical context eg from 17th or 19th century

The tour was all right.
Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
But in terms of the monuments and stories seemed a little weak.
We were expecting a little more "interesting" places and more dramatic facts.

I'm sorry to hear the tour wasn't as interesting or dramatic as you'd hoped. In our opinion there are some great stories and hidden bits of history within this tour - certainly content which you won't find in the standard tour of London. I'd never suggest this tour is 'dramatic' - it focuses more on the joy of discovering a side to the city which makes this tour really fun, but I guess its not to everyone's tastes!

We travel to London often, but had not seen the areas or heard the history behind them of the places that were covered during the tour. Our guide was well-informed and articulate. It was a hot day, and Paul was thoughtful and careful about keeping us in the shade and giving us the opportunity to get water.

Lee was a great tour guide - funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. We were a small party of 7, and the tour was both highly informative and personal. The tour gave us an essence of some of the secrets of the city, and sights we would easily miss if venturing on our own. Lee also offered recommendations of other things to do/see and places to eat during the tour. Definitely a fantastic tour and highly recommended.

Joe, our guide, was great!! Plenty of humor and interesting stories and we all learned so much !
In addition to hearing “ secret” info about London , we went down a few off the beaten track side streets and were bridges to some new areas.

Though tour covered 4-5 secret locations in Central London, tour guide wasn’t up to the mark and very vague in explaining and not easy to follow.

Although we appreciate feedback, its frustrating when it is misleading and disingenuous. The tour lasted 1.5 hours as advertised, and included a dozen locations and descriptions of unusual spots along the way.
We've had a couple of other reviews for the same tour which were very complimentary, but I'm sorry you were found the guide difficult to follow. Feel free to led a guide know if that is the case in the future, they're usually very amiable!

Short walk. Good pace. Very entertaining leader who certainly knew his home town. I liked the links to movies. I would certainly have walked past some of the alley ways oblivious to how interesting they were.

Very interesting walking tour- The guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. Lovely wander around old alleyways and points of interest that you would normally miss- Loved the history of the old residents and had never noticed the smallest police station before.
