You will visit places you never knew about. There’s a lot of walking. There are no pit stops. Use the toilet before you start your tour. Excellent tour.

Excellent tour guide was very informative, information, dense, well presented, entertainingly presented, willing to answer questions. The only problem was that we were running three or four minutes late to the meeting spot, but the guy left exactly he said at at the start time, even though we were not there yet and he knew we were coming and had paid, but we got no message that he was leaving without us. Only by luck, I noticed him walking down the street in the opposite direction that we were hurrying to get to the starting spot so I yelled to him to see if he was our tour guide and he said yes he had our names.
So that was the only problem everything else was great.

Unfortunately if a customer does not inform us they are running late then we are unable to update the guide and they cannot wait indefinitely with the rest of the group, but we’re glad you were able to locate them as they set off.

Arrived at the precise tour starting place 30 minutes before tour start. Instructions said that guide would be wearing a distinctive fun flag. We didn’t see anyone that matched the description and no one made any kind of announcement or made any attempt to see if anyone was waiting for the tour. It should have be obvious to anyone at the location that we were waiting to meet for a purpose. After it appeared that the guide did not show, I texted the organizers. I received a reply about 30 minutes later, after we had already left and gotten back on the tube. The reply questioned whether we were standing in the correct place and advised that the tour left 3 minutes after the scheduled start time. I was offered the chance to rebook, but we were scheduled to leave London the next day. I requested a refund, but that request did not receive a reply.

Hi Gary, I'm sorry you were unable to join our tour, and that you decided not to respond to our offer of a refund.
As we can all see from the messages you posted to us on Viator, you arrived at 11.06 - six minutes late - and mentioned that the guide had left, and were upset that it was raining (?!) We responded immediately(also at 11.06 - please check the message yourself) to explain that although you were late, you could find the guide and the other people on the tour just around the corner at Charterhouse Square.
I have reached out to offer a refund despite you being late, which I think is very generous, especially given that your review is deliberately misleading and not based on the actual events.

Our guide Jess was an engaging storyteller and enthusiast for the neighborhoods and lesser known sites and historical tales he relished in telling. The tour covered a fair amount of ground but included many stops, often with a bench available. Highly recommended!

Rosie is a wonderful storyteller. She was very knowledgeable and funny. You can tell she loves her job! We were able to quite a few places we have never been or would know to go to. The walk was easy, never tiring. Highly recommend. I will definitely go on another tour with Rosie.

Took the tour with my two teenage sons, and they declared it their favorite thing they did during their London trip. The tour guide shared great historical information and stories that kept them interested and talking about it still days later. Highly recommend.
