Nic was very knowledgeable about each of the cheeses and he was well-informed about the history of the cheese stores as well.
Very enjoyable experience going to the different shops and deli
Pearla was very welcoming and explained everything and got us all to participate. Pearla was a very good guide and made the experience enjoyable.
You taste cheeses from big places and small cheese stores. Interesting and fun. It was a walking tour but walking was doable.
This is a fun tour. If you want something a little different from the usual tourist activities, this is a great idea. Nick was really fun and knowledgeable!
Informative and good cheese tasting selection. Interesting locations and even a quiz. Well organized and smooth running of the event.
Great to experience other shops you would not normally see when walking by, and some great cheeses to taste.
It’s a fun and different activity to do, especially with friends, and at a gentle walking pace.
We arrived 7 min late to tour (our fault… just arrived to london that am, jetlag and took a bit to orient to tube/subway system). Howeve, BEWARE, there was no message left on the app of where the first cheese stop would be if your party arrives late. We immediately messaged the guide upon arrival with no response. Because of the latter, we requested a refund and we were declined. Later in our trip, we did a fabulous food tour where i noted the guide DID leave a first location to meet up at for a late arriving couple..as is only courtesy for tourists booking expensive tours in a 90 degree heat wave that week. Very disappointed.
It was good fun & our guide Nic was very knowledgeable & the cheese quiz was interesting but light hearted & a laugh. You're walking for two hours but get plenty of rest at the five shops you visit. Well worth doing & the cheeses sampled were all very tasty.
Louie, our guide, was lovely and kept things light and lively throughout, even when our team got a trivia question (or two) wrong (sorry to let you down, Louie ;)). I met a gorgeous group of Londoner lady friends and learned loads about cheeses and the shops that sell them here…and that I am partial to raw goats milk cheese, or at least the very complex one we sampled at Fortnum & Mason. Five stars!
A fun tour! We visited 5 locations and tasted a cheese at each. Bettina, our tour guide, was very friendly.
There was a total of six people on the tour. It was led by a young Italian lady named Perla who was very knowledgeable and good fun.
We visited five cheese shops and had a tasting in each.
Very enjoyable walking tour.
Would thoroughly recommend.
We met our guide promptly, we learnt about the history of each place we visited and of course the cheese we tasted. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun.
I have done a lot of food tours and this was by far the worst. Stopping by Whole Foods for cheese? I can do that at home.very disappointing. Did not finish the tour.
An enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.
One doesn’t have to be a cheese buff.
You get to see inside shops you wouldn’t otherwise expect to be in.
Excellent tour. Our guide was super friendly and very knowledgeable. we went to several cheese shops and got to sample different types and also had a glass of Prosecco! would highly recommend.
Lots of walking. BUT, well worth it, got to look around, find shops to go back to, and we tasted some amazing cheeses that we will
be purchasing back home. Louis was an amazing tour guide, very personable and gave a good bit of info about each shop
and each cheese
Bridget was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The cheese was delicious. Be prepared to do a bit of walking and be weather ready. It rained the whole while.
A lovely tour lead by the lovely Bettina. She leads up through different spots in central London and introduce something new as well! Love the cheese she introduced in the tour and I'll definitely pop by the places to shop some more.
The lady guide was a very good one. The quality and quantity of the cheese was very poor very upseting
Cheeses were all excellent although the tour guide was hard to hear. Would be nice to have water or a beverage to cleanse palate.
Louis was a knowledgeable and friendly guide, great tasting cheese at the interesting stops along the tour. Highly recommended
Loved this tour..! The wonderful guide Pearla introduced us to some delicious cheeses and the delightful histories thereof 🧀 There was even some time to peruse the stores, which was a nice bonus - I didn't expect to buy so many goodies! I really enjoyed this tour and recommend to all cheese lovers 💛
We had a fabulous time cheese tasting with our guide, Pearla. She was a delight and had some great histories about the locations we visited. No shortage of cheese on this tour either! Highly recommend.
Nic was a fantastic guide. He played a little game to keep everyone engaged. He was friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job of keeping it interesting. I’ll be honest, when I saw that one stop was Whole Foods, i didn’t have high expectations, but it turned out to have my favorite cheese of the tour (truffled Brie - so good!). We had terrible weather but didn’t mind the rain because we had so much fun.
Great tour! Nic was knowledgeable and a fun guide. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the history shared as well as the cheese.
Good footwear is needed for this great tour that winds down some interesting back streets each with a history of cheese making. A well chosen selection of cheeses at 5 venues guided by Bettina from Green Park to Covent Garden. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
Louis was a great guide on our cheese tour. Plenty of cheese and learned a bit more about the cheeses that I love.
This was really fun tour. He gave us lots
of history, lots of cheese, and lots of
cheese jokes. We had a great time.
So much great cheese and nice walk. Jack, our guide, was funny and with great knowledge. I recommend it for a different experience of London.
The guide was very knowledgeable about the different cheeses and made the experience fun while learning about cheeses.
