The sites are completely self directed, which is fine, but different frkm several of the other tours The directions on the meetup spot from Viator were wrong and we nearly missed the tour. I'd advise that you double check via message about the pickup spot for the tour.

Nik was an excellent guide and made the visits to these 3 locations quite interesting! He got to know each member of our group without being intrusive. As a result he could tailor his comments to our particular interests. And his knowledge of the period history was quite valuable especially important at Woodhenge and Avebury — the latter our group’s favorite. Particularly nice to have a private driver with hotel pick-up.

Worth it! Plan accordingly

Early wake up meet 830 but worth it. Comfy A/C bus right side of th3 bus gives the shady ride up and view of the country side. 2 hours at each site except Sillsbury. Bring a hat in sunny days and water. The guide makes 1 stop 30 min after we begin route. Knowlegable and witty! It gets windy at Stonehenge. Bring light jacket, sun glasses and good walking shoes. WORTH THE TRIP!! perhaps offer a sunset tour !° also a visit to the crop circle information center would be great insteqd of woodberry? The cove at Avebury is easy to locate and the food was very healthy and fair $ with a seat yourself, scan the QR code dowload the app order food and the server finds you.
