Just had a lovely time with Rachel, navigating the less well known idiosyncracies around London's Temple, Fleet Street, and The City areas. A wonderful and engaging guide - combined with suitable cameos from the animal, legal, and university shooting clubs estates - made for a very engaging time indeed. Two very happy souls; thoroughly recommended.

Paul was wonderful! I am visiting a friend who has lived in London for years snd even she learned several new things on the tour. Paul was always open to follow up questions. The walk does have some hills, but over all we saw a lot in a small area and learned a lot!

Interesting tidbits, but not really " hidden" London. The guide was engaging, and seemed to have a fare knowledge of history.

I'm glad you found the tour interesting, but sorry it wasn't 'hidden' enough for you.
I guess everything is in the eye of the beholder, but we take people to places unseen on other tours.
For instance: The fake 'Roman' baths, the area of Temple rarely seen by tourists, alleyways barely frequented just off Fleet Street, WW2 damage on the side of a lesser known church, and lots of stories and other locations not so well known (and certainly not in the guidebooks).

Joe was our guide. He is passionate about his job and his city which he knows lots about. He engaged with all the people on the tour who ranged from 11 to 68. We have been to London many times and we had not visited one place on the tour. The stops and Joe’s commentary were all excellent. Joe is in asset to this company and to the tourist industry in which he has chosen to work.

On the tour you heard about the history of the Knights Templar (and visited the magical area of Temple), checked out an old disused Tube station, saw bomb damage from WW2 on the side of an ancient church, checked out hidden alleyways not known to most people, and went off the beaten track in a fascinating part of London.
These are just a handful of the reasons why this tour is such a popular one.

A good way to learn interesting facts and myths about history and hidden places in London to encourage future return trip to actually look inside some of the places we passed. (We were unable to enter any of the locations during the tour except the pub at the conclusion.)

My brother and I really enjoyed this tour. What I loved about it was that it wasn’t at all the big sites you normally see when you’re visiting London. It was for sure off the beaten track and I learned a lot of neat bits of history. The guide was an excellent story teller and source of history. Totally recommend this tour.

Loved the tour! So much history and exciting things to learn about even if you've lived in London for many years. Our tour guide Rachel was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and passionate, she really brought the stories to life. The tour lasts for the right amount of time and there are some great tips for places to explore afterwards.
