City Sightseeing Frustration

After being dropped off for a visit at St Paul’s Cathedral there was a road closure so bus routes were changed . No agent was there to redirect, so we ended up walking to the next pick up which was the London bridge by following traffic . There was no response when I tried reaching the operator . It was FRUSTRATING and EXHAUSTING. After finally making it to the next stop the bus driver was very sympathetic though .

Make sure you’re at the right stop to catch your first bus

It would be nice to have better location info about where the stops are located. We ended up at a stop that wasn’t on the City Sightseeing circuit and didn’t figure out for 20 minutes that our stop was around the corner. That was frustrating.

WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

This was a waste of money. There are multiple hop on hop off buses in london. Other companies are running multiple buses continuously that actually make stops at the "highlights". This bus company had minimal buses running. You would be waiting at least 20-30 mins for a bus as multiple other companies had 2-3 pass during your wait time. It makes useless stops, not near anything so just slows the time before you make your desired destination. After being on the bus for an hour and a half, we weren't even half way through the route. we ended up getting off the bus and taking a taxi as we were going to miss our entry time for the tower of London. I would NEVER recommend it. It would cost you less and you would move around the city quicker with utilizing other hop on hop off bus companies or even the tube or taxis! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The app and email would not provide the QR code required to board the bus. Several attempts to the customer service and other portals for assistance went unanswered. We were not able to get on the bus at all, and therefore am completely dissatisfied with our experience.

When we went for our tour the barcode would not read properly. So we did not get any tickets to get on and off, stayed on bus as we did not want an issue as no one knew anything on how to fix this. Tried sending a message to Viator even prior to this happening regarding a question we had and no reply. Last time i will use Vistor. Used it when we went up New York and worked great but London was not organized at all

Seeing all the popular sights on our first day of our vacation was great. Excellent informational narrative while on the bus. Loved picking up the river Thames boat by Big Ben at Westminster pier. All in all a wonderful experience,
