To start your River Thames sightseeing adventure, head to any of the embarkation points along the river, including popular choices like Westminster Pier, Embankment Pier, Tower Millennium Pier, Canary Wharf Pier, or Greenwich Pier. Tickets are valid within all zones between Putney and Barking Riverside piers.

Along the way, enjoy comfortable seating in a climate-controlled catamaran, sip on a coffee or tea from the onboard cafe or a drink from the onboard bar (own expense), and catch impressive views of London’s key riverside landmarks. All our piers are step-free and wheelchair accessible except for Cadogan, London Bridge City and Wandsworth Riverside Quarter piers. This is because the brow can become too steep, dependant on the tide, at these locations, making it unsafe for wheelchair users.
Tickets are valid within all zones West - Central and East ( between Putney and Barking Riverside piers).
Tickets are not valid on The O2 express services.
Please present your printed or e-ticket to Uber Boat by Thames Clippers staff at any of our piers.
Children up to the age of 10 must always be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are valid for the day selected during booking.
Boarding is based on a first come first served basis.

Fun boat ride but limited route

Good weather. Staff very nice. But disappointed in the route. Had to get off the boat at northern end to get on another boat to return to London Eye. Then suddenly told to get off at Embankment and walk (a LONG walk after 14 flight day). Had to walk all the way to London Eye hotel including two huge staircases. Did more time walking than riding the boat

Great when low tide and low passenger numbers

I take nothing away from Viator and the service was great but we had boats curtail due to high tides and saw many a person left behind due to poor management. Yes it’s great but on busy days it’s full on and lots of time wasted

Horrible in every way. No apologies nor compensation from Uber or Viator. I will never use their services again.

This review is bad solely on my experience and is my opinion only. The Uber officials turned me and my daughter away from boarding the Hop on Hop off River Thames adventure 1 day tour because the Uber officials told us they were overbooked! They refused to compensate us. The Uber officials I dealt with refused to provide their names and offered no assistance nor sympathy. My daughter was heartbroken and Viator is not refunding my money! What’s wrong with Viator to refuse to refund me. Uber refused saying I booked through Viator. I will file a credit card complaint.

great way to see London & also get about... comfortable & fun. bear in mind that although the boats are fast, the regular docking really slows a journey down- great way to travel but not as fast as bus/ train!

You are able to experience the view of the entire city. You can get on and off all day long without having to use another form of transportation. Staff will assist on when to exit to reach your next destination.

I didn’t realize when purchasing this that you have to go to one of the stations listed to cash in your vouchers. I was staying in North Greenwich which is not one of the places you can cash it in. So, I paid again and then tried to use it in Westminster for the return leg and the ticket booth was closed so you were told to go to the agent at the station who said they couldn’t help.

Great time on the Uber Boat from Westminster

We loved seeing London from the water. It was so peaceful being out of the hubbub of the crowds on the roads and the streets. We began at the Westminster stop where we saw Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, etc. My husband, a big Shakespeare lover, loved seeing the Shakespeare Globe, which he went to see the next day, as we didn't have time that day. We got out at Greenwich, where inside a large park-like setting, we toured the large and wonderful Visitors' Centre. We tried on costumes of the Royal Navy and knight's in armors' accessories, saw a Chocolate House, and rooms that looked just like they did during the Royal Navy days.There was a gift shop and a tea and pastry shop. That is to name just some of the things to see there. Outside, was the most beautiful carousel I've ever encountered. My husband & I rode on it, as did many others. Right near it, there was a huge, very old and very picturesque ship called the Cutty Sark.

There was disappointment with the trip which we wanted to go to Greenwich ,when we arrived at the pier we were told that that because it was busy , the wait would be about 50 minutes after 3 or 4 boats came we then told the wait would be another 2 hours , in the end we had to get a boat going the other direction and stay on to Greenwich ,we were meeting people in Greenwich so got there nearly 2 hours later than planned , we only waited because we brought the tickets in advance , which there is no benefit in buying in advance as people buying the same day had the choice of not going on the boat as they had not paid

If the weather is bad ie windy & wet this experience is difficult to enjoy. Thr long waits on a pier exposed to the rain, the infrequent service & the one journey we took we were asked to disembark at an earlier destination due to high tide & weather. Somethings are obviously out Ubers control buy I'd purchased 3 adult hop on hop off tkts & had only 1 successful journey in 3 hours. Worse...ehrn asked fir ETA of next craft the staff simply didn't know! Sorry bad day for this experience & expensive day for us!!

Worst Excursion ever

It was the worst and wasted day with this Uber Thames boat ride. We had to wait for the boat which was fine, then they said that boat wasn't going to make it, it was broken down. Then the one we got on dropped us off at Woolwich said another one would be by but then they said they weren't going to Westminster, the original one stopped and got us and then we had to get of they didn't have enough crew finally another one came and we just got off at Tower Hill and took the underground! That boat wasn't going to Westminster or Waterloo either! I will never use them again. Thank you Tina Peterson

Terrible and unreliable service!! I wouldn’t book it again. I want a refund. The process to activate a ticket took 20-30 minutes. Only to find out when trying to board that it would take 2-3 boats 25min -1 hour before we could board a boat. We didn’t even ride it because we had dinner reservations and feared we wouldn’t make it on time. Viator and Uber should not be selling more tickets than they have seats….If it’s a busy time you must add more boats. How do I get my refund?

This was well worth the money!!! We had a wonderful time. The personnel were VERY helpful to us when we felt lost and in a strange place. They accommodated our every request and need. The boats were clean and well kept. The personnel also went out of their way to be kind and welcoming! I can't say enough about the service we received. We also used this boat service the entire day for transporting us around the city.

Voucher vs Ticket

There was no one at the ticket box when we arrived and a sign directed us to where the boats docked. When we got there and showed our vouchers the woman became angry and started yelling the vouchers weren’t tickets. She was crazy unprofessional but let us board. We eventually got off the boat and later re boarded and a man converted the vouchers to tickets and it was a time consuming process. Pretty sure the lady didn’t want to bother with Viator tickets but the boats were nice and we took a ton of great pictures.
