I did this experience a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it, so I decided to come back with my kiddo this time around. I was expecting a similar experience, but unfortunately, it fell a little short of my expectations.
The last time we went, we had plenty of crabs and had enough to actually enjoy a meal afterward. This time, we were limited to just two crabs—enough to get a little “taste,” but definitely not enough to consider it a meal. So, if you’re booking this experience, go for the fun and the experience itself rather than expecting to leave with a full plate of crab.
That said, the crew was great and made the experience enjoyable overall. I’d still recommend giving it a try, especially if you’ve never been crabbing before.
