Your wine country experience begins in downtown Healdsburg. From there, take off across the town square, where your guide introduces you to the prominent chefs and winemakers. Learn about the wine and food culture from some of the most widely celebrated figures in the region.
You also hear about the seasonal and sustainable methods of food and wine production in the area. Visit a boutique winery to meet industry experts while sipping local reads and whites, and enjoy some delicious farm-to-table dishes. You may also try tea samplings from around the globe and enjoy tapas and sangria from one of the top tapas restaurants in the country. (A sample list of stops is included in the itinerary section below)
Your tour concludes in the afternoon, leaving you plenty of time to continue exploring Healdsburg’s tasting rooms and boutique shops on your own.

A:The walk is approximately 1.20 miles with no hills or inclines. You do stop and sit down at most of the tastings, so there is time to sit and relax along the way.

This is a great way to learn about Healdsburg while also enjoying some good food and wine. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it to others visiting the area. Tammy was a great host for our food and wine tour! She started off giving us a little history of Healdsburg and the surrounding area. The curated locations that we visited were perfect and each location’s food and wine selections were delicious! Tammy also gave us the history on the places we visited. The tour is highly recommended!

We had a brief history of the area and visits to a few local spots - some interesting and some just okay. The Japanese tea room and Portalupi wines were the best, then the Journeyman. There was an unexpected cancellation of one locale and it wasn’t really replaced with anything except we had extra items at the other places we went. We got some good restaurant tips from the other participants tho. Its a dynamic food scene there and as a local, Tammy seemed very informed on what was going on and gave us info on things like the farmer’s market.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m truly sorry we had to adjust the tour route that day due to an unexpected plumbing emergency at Bravas. When situations like that arise, we do our best to ensure the experience remains special and satisfying.
To make up for the change, we enhanced your tasting at Journeyman with a New York Strip steak, and an elevated wine and food pairing at Portalupi—an experience valued at over $50. We also added a visit to Dutch Door Donuts, one of Healdsburg’s newest gourmet spots, and finished the afternoon at Noble Folk Ice Cream and Pie Bar.
I’m glad you enjoyed several of the stops and appreciated our local insights. We’re constantly striving to make each tour memorable, even when unexpected circumstances arise. The number of stops and tastings included were phenomenal! Tammy was the perfect host, very knowledgeable about Healdsburg and the foods at our stops. We never felt rushed. Honestly it was THE best food tour we’ve ever done and we have done them quite frequently in the past. So happy that we did this tour early in our trip to give us an overview of Healdsburg so we could revisit places in our free time. Great value for the cost!!!

Tammy was an amazing tour guide, so personable and quickly made us feel as if we were part of the family. The three stops for food and wine were awesome. That was followed by some specialty teas, and ending with ice cream or pie. Five wonderful stops in this endearing town of Healdsburg Specialty meats, tapas, and hors d’oeuvres paired with great wines. After the tour we went back to buy some sausage, and to a different venue to sign up for their wine club. Tammy had a wealth of knowledge about the area which was shared with us in a very low key style.
