Walter, a very knowledgeable Greenville native, gave an outstanding tour. He started by qualifying what we wanted to see, history, paranormal, food, nature, “secret” buildings and tunnels. He showed restaurants including several novelty buildings -repurposed sea containers. We toured some areas and buildings which are known for paranormal activity. He gave fabulous historical facts about the Reedy Creek, various former textile mills, cigar factories, and offices.
He knows the good places to eat and drink, and enjoy live entertainment.
He’s a consummate pro who knows all things Greenville.

Have ideas of what you want like to see, because there is more history or restaurants than you can see in a hour.
Walter was very accommodating because it was terribly hot the day we took the tour. He gave us the option to walk or drive due to the heat. He navigated around the city and was very knowledgeable of the history of Greenville.

One of the best walking tours we have ever done. We usually like to do city tours in ever new city we visit. Walter was a great guide, we learned a lot an appreciated him tailoring the tour to our interest.

One of the best walking tours we have done in a city. Our guide Walter customized the tour to our wants and likes. He covered history, architecture, best restaurants and hidden gems in Greenville! While it gets hot in Greenville, he made sure to make some stops that were air conditioned and could get water if needed. Highly recommend if you are visiting Greenville!

Walter our guide was very friendly and super knowledgeable about the history, restaurants, entertainment venues and the “lore” of this fun city. He was willing to modify the tour to emphasize more of what we wanted to see or understand. He checked in several times to confirm if there was anything we wanted to modify including the pace or a pause to get something to drink or rest. Very knowledgeable and a great way for a novice to become familiar with Greenville! We recommend this tour.

Walter was incredibly knowledgeable of local history, both oral and official. He has many fun facts that are only acquired from a lifetime of being curious about your home. He did an excellent job and was very cognizant of our whole group including making sure we stopped in shady places to keep the baby out of the sun as much as possible. 6 out of 5 starts.
