- Guided Cathedral visits take place on afternoon tours; morning tours include independent entry after the tour with your pre-reserved tickets.
- Low season (generally November to March) is often seen as an opportunity for renovation and maintenance. Therefore, sites may be closed during this period, often without warning.
- Please note that Cathedral entry is not available on Sundays.
- Individuals wearing sleeveless shirts and shorts above knees are not allowed inside the cathedral.
- Backpacks of any size or dimension, and any bag designed to be worn on the back, are not allowed.
- This tour includes portions that are outside and could be in the full sun. Please bring a hat, small umbrella, or sunscreen if you are sensitive to the sun.
- Arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
- It is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
- Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
- The baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the vault's mosaics.
- Giotto’s Bell Tower has no lift available.
- Both the Duomo Museum and the Florence Baptistery are scheduled to be visited; however, depending on timing and availability, the tour may include only one of the two sites.
- You may be refused entry if you fail to comply with the cathedral’s dress requirements.
- The Cathedral is an active place of worship and may be closed to visitors at any time for liturgical services or religious ceremonies, sometimes without prior notice.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

It’s not 3 hours. Your bell tower ticket may be hours after tour. You must follow dress code which they did not post until I complained. Don’t bother complaining to Viator, they don’t care.

The dress code required for entering cathedrals in Italy is clearly stated in the tour description before booking, as well as in the booking confirmation, voucher, and reminder messages. Despite this, your guide had to pause the tour to help you obtain suitable covers so that you could enter.
The Bell Tower ticket is provided at the end of the guided tour, approximately three hours after the scheduled starting time, as clearly arranged within the tour itinerary. Participants cannot leave a scheduled group tour and expect the remaining services to be provided at a time of their own choosing.
By joining a scheduled group tour, all participants agree to follow the itinerary, remain with the group, respect the guide’s instructions, and comply with the rules imposed by the religious sites visited. These requirements apply equally to everyone and are necessary for the tour to operate properly.

Marco was a very good guide ! We were kept engaged throughout the whole tour with lots of interesting information and facts. It didn't feel like it had dragged on either like some tours can and we moved at a good pace. The guide was patient and kind with us all. I would recommend this tour.

This tour is a day long wonderful immersion into the Tuscan experience. Breathtaking scenery without the crowds found on other tours in Italy. Wine tasting was simply a bonus to a fantastic day.

My wife and I only had 1 day in Florence and wanted to see a much as we could with our limited time. Our tour guide Marco was very knowledgeable and provided us with a detailed history of Florence and the many places we visited. The skip the line tickets alone made this tour worth it, since we did not have to stand outside for an extended period of time during the summer heat.

Valentina our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the city, Michelangelo and paintings. Even while waiting in line she kept the conversation going. She’s very engaged with the group. You can tell she loves her city and takes pride in providing tours.

Tour guide was knowledgeable, unfortunately a family with 2 small children ruined our time and we left the tour early. We almost missed our time in the museum because mom and son needed to pee. Then they had to check a bottle of wine. Inside museum mom and dad taking g glamor shots in front of the David, kid running loose. They left the group, guide had to go find them. Inside Duomo same thing. On the way to next museum family stopped for ice cream. Tour guide had us all wait once again while he went and found the family. This was horrible. We left without finishing the Tour because the Tour guide let this family ruin it for all. I request a refund.

Our Guide was great! Her depth of knowledge immersed us in the history of Florence and the prominent figures that have shaped Italy. The tour included hearing devices so all communications were clear and the group could easily stay together. All in all, a great experience!

Overall a good tour. The focus of the time spent within the Academia Galleria is guide dependent but overall informative.
We booked the 3 hour tour including Giotto Bell tower climb which is 100% worth it! Nite that the 3 hour tours is 3 hours and then you are assigned a climb time (this was not evident to us when booking based on the description within Viator, so plan your day accordingly)

We had an absolutely amazing tour! Francesca was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and funny, which made the experience both educational and enjoyable. Julia was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and took her time at every place. Towards the end of the tour, it was only 4 of us and it felt just right. The other families had kids that didn’t want to be there anymore. It was nice to go inside buildings that had AC.

Since it was our honeymoon, we were trying to avoid group tours as much as possible, but this was the perfect small-group tour for our trip. We got to see the highlights of Florence without spending too much time in any museum. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and so open to answering questions. We got especially lucky with our tour since we were the only ones that booked the extra part of the tour, so it was just us 2 and the tour guide for half of the tour. We learned and saw so much in a small amount of time and felt it was a great value for the money. Would definitely recommend!

Our tour guide was amazing!!! We did the three hour Florence tour with the ability to still do the bell tower, museum and the cathedral later in the day! Thus you had 6 hours of activity locked in this tour! Highly recommend!!

It was pretty crowded, but as a solo traveler my tour guide made sure I was always in sight. Lei parli Inglease molto bene and was well understood.
I'd do it again!! Well worth it.

The logistics of the trip were a little stressful. We chose the whole day option, and through out the day we picked up other people, which was ok, but meant a lot of waiting at different stops. Next time, I’d choose just the Duomo.

The tour felt a little rushed but that was because there was so much to see. The guide had a lot to share and the headsets provided helped to hear it all. However honestly, you can appreciate it all on your own if you have time and don’t mind the wait.

Excellent tour, would highly recommend. Had a private tour around the highlights of Florence as only myself & my mother were booked onto the tour. Our guide Eleonora was great, made the tour a pleasure to be on. Loved that it was a small group of 8 people. Our guide provided some much background/historical information that was interesting and important to make connections to the places we visited and the art pieces that were highlighted. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who has is visiting for the first time.
