No trip to Florence should skip a visit to the Uffizi Gallery, and I highly recommend a guided tour for the average tourist so as to see highlights and hear fascinating information not otherwise accessed. Our guide was William, and he was extraordinary! I have never noticed the level of detail he showed us as we traveled through room after room of incredible beauty. The descriptors he chose and his cadence were mesmerizing, filling my imagination to the point that I hardly noticed the crowds around me. As with any museum of decent size, one cannot cover every display in one visit. This Viator tour with William allowed us maximum enjoyment of this remarkable collection.
