Uffixi Small Group Tour

Alex was exceptional in sharing her art knowledge and enthusiasm. Her sincere concern for providing a great experience was so evident. The gallery is extremely ceowded and she was most assertive but polite in ensuring our small group was positioned well to see wach work she spoke about. You won't be disappointed with Alex as your guide.

Scam!!!

There was no tour. We were scammed. It was free entry Sunday. And skip the line was not allowed which is what we paid for. The tour guide DID NOT show up. Is and two other people were at the designated meeting place early and stayed late. Cost us a day of aggravation in Rome and we did not get on the Uffizi which was most important to us. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!

Great, but short guided tour at the Uffizi Gallery

We had an amazing and engaged tour guide that took us through some of the main highlights of the Gallery. Though only 1,5 hours for a place that massive is a bit short, so I would recommend anyone to take a tour that's slightly longer.

Don't take a risk with this tour! One minute after booking this tour I tried to contact Italy Pass Tours to make a change, but I never received a response. Extremely poor customer service. If their management is like this, I can guess how the tour actually is.

Late guide and malfunctioning headset

For a “skip the line tour” the guide was at least 30 minutes late. This delay affected the rest of our plans for the day. When the guide arrived she was frazzled. Headset didn’t work and when changed out, that one didn’t work either. For 3 of us, this tour was not inexpensive. Really wish I could get a refund or at least a partial refund.

Too much detail, barely anything we wanted to see

The lady who took us around was probably an excellent teacher- she gave us very detailed information on each piece of art she showed us. I think it would have been helpful if she had asked what periods or artists we were interested in. She spent over a third of the time in medieval art, which the four of us were not interested in. I had to remind her that we only had an hour and a half, so she talked a little faster, but continued many details. We made it only as far as Michelangelo and Botticelli. If the original David was there, we never saw it. She also took very small slow steps, even though we left one member of our party, who had mobility problems, on a bench outside. This was my bucket list for Florence, and we were all very disappointed.

Disorganized and not worth the money at all

My tour was set for 11 o’clock, but I received an email if I could come at 10:30 and to arrive 15 minutes early. Got there at 10 o’clock and waited and the tour didn’t leave till 1045. This was supposed to be a quick entrance and took 40 minutes to get in. People within individual tickets got in a lot quickerThe person with the tickets had to run back and get more tickets for other members because she didn’t have enough.

The Uffizi gallery itself was overwhelming so I’m glad we had a guide to see the highlights. The Birth of Venus was amazing. Unfortunately our tour guide spoke very fast and it was difficult to understand him and appreciate what we were seeing.

I am frustrated because of the unsympathetic response I was given by your team. I was told to go to a certain statue to meet for the tour. I researched the statue since I was not familiar with the one spoken of. I ended up with a bad recommendation of which statue it was and therefore ended up being seven minutes late for the tour. I asked if I could catch up to them and they said no. I asked if there was another tour or another way to help this be sorted out. They said no and just gave me my ticket with no tour. So, I am very disappointed with this experiences and treatment. I, at least, would expect a partial refund for all besides the ticket price itself. I was really looking forward to this tour

Fabulous visit to the Uffizi this morning. Sadly I can’t remember the name of lady guide as we were switched group at the last minute (she had long dark hair and is a friend of Mohammed’s) She was great, talked us through the most important pieces of art and navigated us through the crowds really well. Everything was explained really well and she kindly answered questions. Fully recommend visiting the Uffizi and a guide is essential in our opinion.

The trip provider said initially they cannot do the guided tour and only provide entry but when I insisted they arrange another tour for me they were able to. It turned out ok but did cause a lot of anxiety as I wasn't sure till a day before if my tour will work out or not.

We were so very lucky to have Vittoria as our guide. She was fantastic - knowledgeable and enthusiastic about art, and an expert on the Uffizi. We all had such a great time, our only regret is that it wasn't a bit longer. The Uffizi gallery us fantastic too, but Vittoria added another layer to this already great museum.

Our tour guide Olga was wonderful! She did a phenomenal job of guiding us through the Uffizi (which is just massive and can be overwhelming) to the most beautiful works. She knew the history of the pieces, the artists and Florence and did a wonderful job of explaining them along the way. You also get amazing views of the Arno River, the Ponte Vecchio, the Cathedral etc from this gallery. Seeing the Birth of Venus in person is a life experience I will never forget! I am so glad I got to show my children!

The only thing that could possibly be better than experiencing the breathtaking magnificence of some of the world’s greatest masterpieces, is to do so in the company of a guide who brings both knowledge and passion to a tour.
