The Florence Specialist office is located off the corner of Piazza San Marco, next to the "Antico Vinaio". The priority entrance tickets have a timed entrance. Those who arrive late will not be able to enter with the group. As per museum regulations, latecomers will enter seperately.

The lines were long but we went right in with our guide: she was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic when telling the story of the times, of many sculptors, and of course, of Michaelangelo and his sculpture of David. Very enjoyable!

This tour was absolutely perfect and exactly what my group of 4 was looking for in a tour. It was quick—an hour—and didn’t have to worry about entrance tickets ourselves as it was included. Our tour guide was very informative and we learned quite a bit in our hour. Highly recommend doing this tour to get the most out of your experience seeing the gallery and David!

If you’re visiting the Accademia, ask for Laura! She is a wealth of knowledge and managed to cover the highlights with such grace and detail in just one hour. Skipping the line was great, but Laura’s storytelling was the real highlight of our visit. An absolute must-do!

Laurie was incredible. Her name is harder to spell so it is Laurie if you want her for the Tour. She had so much information and the Tour was great. Other people did not show up so we basically had the Tour all to ourselves. No lines and not crowded. If you want an outstanding History Lesson as well Laurie is your Girl. Loved it. Would absolutely recommend.

Very informative, Isabella our guide was easy to understand and extremely knowledgeable. Skip the line is a must if not your going to be waiting in lines for 30-45 minutes

Laura did an amazing job helping us understand why David is so special. She helped explain what renaissance Florence was like at the time this statue was created. She took us back in time as well as forward. She managed to fill two hours so effectively and even managed the crowds we had to navigate through.

Our guides are all local, expert guides with vast knowledge about the city and the art inside the museums. It is hard to understand a complaint that a guide spoke too much. This was a tour not just about the David but a complete tour of the gallery and its collection, which includes other works by Michelangelo, Renaissance paintings by artists like Botticelli, and a collection of musical instruments of the Medici Dynasty with priceless Stratavarius instruments. We are sorry to read that you were bored by all this.

Lori did a spectacular job of providing details of Michelangelo's life and his creation of his statue of David. The use of her i-pad allowed us to see details unavailable to the naked eye and brought the statue to life. Lori was very knowledgeable, easy to understand, answered questions thoroughly, and was quite entertaining throughout the tour. Molto bene!
