Best Part of Our Trip

Scott_F, Jul 2025
My girlfriend and I were in Florence for 3 days. We climbed the Duomo, saw Michaelangelo's David, toured the Uffizi, and went on a private boat cruise. But hands down the Vespa tour was the best thing we did. It was fun and exhilarating to zip our way around the mountains south of Florence. The views of the vineyards and olive groves were incredible, the tiny villages we passed through were beautiful, and our tour guide Leonardo was funny, personable, knowledgeable, and took great pictures for us. Then we ended the trip in a small, family owned farmhouse vineyard for wine and bread with olive oil. It was perfect, I wouldn't change a thing. Recommend 100%

A MUST do in Florence!! The best you can do!

Alexa_M, Jul 2024
I would give 10 if I could. We had Ben as our guide, he was OUTSTANDING. We spent 3 weeks in Italy, from Rome to the coast to the mountains and this tour is still the highlight. Ben was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, funny and made this experience exceptional. This is a MUST do if you are in Florence, and ask for Ben if you can-he is the best of the best! This is a unique, fun, beautiful tour where you get to learn and see so much of the country side on a Vespa! Ben made us feel so comfortable riding the vespas. Thank you for an amazing tour and experience. It was a perfect view of the country side. We can’t say enough about this tour!! 11/10!! Book it! You won’t regret it.

Amazing!

This was an amazing experience!! Our guide Ben was knowledgeable about the area and took time to get to know everyone in the group. We loved the scenic Vespa ride, and learning about the region. The wine and olive oil tasting at a local vineyard/olive grove after the Vespa ride was incredible. We met so many wonderful people on this tour and would highly reccomend!!

Super fun tour!!

This was fantastic! One of our favorite things we did on our Italy tour. The guys were very professional and serious about safety. They were also very knowledgeable about the wine region. My 21 yo son loved this. He was worried we wouldn’t have enough driving time but it was great. You take a van about 30 min outside of Florence, so no scary driving in town! They spent time to make sure everyone was capable and safe and away we went! We drove around the beautiful countryside for about two hours. We stopped three times for photo ops and for discussion on the area and history. Then we dropped off the vespas went in the van to a beautiful little winery for a bit of wine and cheese. The owners are so sweet! My only regret is I wanted to take more photos. If you want that you’ll need to have a rider on back that can take photos as it’s impossible while you’re driving. Excellent tour and highly recommend. Note however that the wine and cheese is a snack. You’ll still want dinner or something when you get back to Florence around 8:30.

This experience is an absolutely amazing time- don’t miss out!!!! The guides/instructors make sure you are super comfortable driving the Vespa before they send you on your way. Our guide, Alessio, was phenomenal from start to finish. He was excellent conversation, shared a ton of his knowledge on the Tuscany/Florence region, and made sure we had an amazing time on our experience. The views while riding on the Vespas were second to none. After riding through the beautiful hills, you are brought to a gorgeous farm where you are provided some snacks and given the opportunity to try the farm’s homemade olive oil and red wines. After the trip was done, Alessio also gave us recommendations for Florence restaurants to go to for the rest of our stay. Would 10/10 recommend this experience to everyone. It was a truly unforgettable afternoon/early evening.

Make sure you are taller than 5 ft!

Sherry_L, Aug 2021
I would say, if you have not ridden a Vespa or a bike recently, don't take this tour. You also need to be tall enough (over 5 ft.) to reach the ground when you start and stop as the Vespa is very heavy (approximately 200 lbs.) However, the guide was very informative of Tuscany and we got a lot of beautiful pictures.

Response from Host, Sep 2021

Hi Sherry, We are very sorry to hear that you had some issues with the scooter size. We use two different types of vespas to allow people who are smaller & lighter (or novices) to have an alternative scooter to use to the vespa primavera that are heavier and more difficult to manoeuvre. Unfortunately the smaller vespas that we use are the smallest vespa that Piaggio sells on the market; they have standard sizes and those are not attributable to our business. Regarding the weight, the vespas are made of a motor, wheels, suspensions etc and in order to be reliable have to be built with strong materials which all together make a weight of 80kg (for our smaller model). We always recommend to our guests to email us ahead of time in case they have special requests so that we can help them with the bookings. Regarding the ability to ride a scooter it is very personal. About 60% of the people who take our vespa tours have no experience and a large part of them at the end of the practice can ride confidently. The large parking lot that we use is also used by local parents to teach their kids how to drive cars and motorcycles therefore we have just the perfect location for the practice. We offer all the possible assistance for our guests to make sure they are able to ride safely on roads. Thank you for sharing your opinion with us. Kind regards Alessio & Filippo

Truly fantastic

Kelani_C, Jul 2021
It was absolutely fantastic and stunning, I could not ride the bike. It kept falling over so I was a passenger on the back of one of our tour guides. The views were incredible and our guides Alesio and Ricardo were just amazing.
