From start to finish, angel was an absolute delight! He guided us and explained everything at every factory we explored. We didn’t have coffee before leaving for our tour, and he ended up stopping at a cafe for espresso for us. If you’re in Florence, do not skip out on this trip! Highly recommended to any one!!!’ Thank you angel!!!

THIS is the tour you want AND have to do!!!
At first we were hesitant on choosing this tour given the cost. Then, after a well traveled friend reviewed the itinerary and said that it sounded great, we committed and hoped for the best.
We were not disappointed. Angel was ready to pick us up right on schedule right from our hotel. Shortly after from pulling away from the hotel, Angel cordially introduced himself and we had a great introduction conversation. He then commenced to review the day's itinerary. There was a modification due to a vendor's request and he said that it would just switch a couple stops and not change the day's activities or timing. We appreciated the honesty and explanation.
From the first stop to the last, we were amazed at the knowledge Angel had about the locations and products from all our stops. Even more appreciated was his smooth delivery and willingness to answer questions. It was no surprise that he had a great relationship with the staff of every establishment.
As said above, this tour is not to be passed by. You will not regret it. Just sit back, relax and get immersed in this fabulous experience.

What an amazing day!! Stefano took us to the most exclusive, best places! All of our visits (cheese factory, prosciutto factory, Lambrusco winery, and balsamic vinegar house) was top notch, some of the best I’ve been to! Our guide was warm, kind, and very knowledge about the region and its many wonderful products. Would highly recommend this tour for foodies!!

Our guide Angel was top drawer in every way. He served as driver and the actual guide on a couple of stops.
We learned alot about Parmesan, balsamic and parma hams.
The tastings were delicious and brought each visit together.
Never boring.
Great tour for foodies.

What a fun day! Daria was our guide. Can't Say enough good things about her. It was fun to watch her be so excited by her job. All the tours were really educational and fun. The balsamic was probably the highlight for me. And top it all of with an amazing lunch.

What an incredible experience! We were looking forward to this tour for months, but we had no idea how amazing it would be. Our guide, Johnny, picked us up right on time from our hotel and was a fantastic well of knowledge, answering the many questions we had from our time in Italy. Incredibly knowledgeable and a great conversationalist, he made the long (and scenic!) car ride fly by. Each stop was so delicious, from the cheeses to the vinegars to the full meal of pasta and meats. We were glad we could purchase items throughout the tour, and grateful to see the countryside and smaller towns outside of Florence. The highlight of our week in Italy! Thanks Johnny!

Wow! What a day. Paola was sensational! This was the most memorable day of our trip to Italy for sure. To see the cheese literally being made was fantastic. The same can be said for the ham and prosciutto. I've never tasted mortadella that didn't just taste like bologna, until now, Gary's was exceptional. The real highlight for us was the balsamic production which is truly fascinating! My wife and I have a new understanding and appreciation for the authentic balsamic making traditions we will never forget. I highly recommend this tour. Also, we asked Paola for recommendations on where to purchase wins and gold jewelry without getting tourist treatment (and costs) and she delivered remarkably well. Paola, thank you so much from Mary and Nick!

We had a magical day with Paola! From start to finish, we were taken care of. Each stop gave us an insight into how the products are produced, and we were able to meet the people behind the process.
One tiny suggestion: after sampling the prosciutto, ricotta, Parmesan, and balsimico, there was actually no need for a four course lunch! I would have preferred a bit of gelato to finish the day after all the tastings.

What a wonderful experience exploring Emilia-Romagna! Paola, our guide was so amazing and made our tours interesting and fun! We saw, we tasted and tasted some more, so skip breakfast and enjoy the gastronomic ride. Paola was a great driver and host and is so knowledgeable. It’s hard to pick but the balsamic tour and tasting was probably my favorite experience along with sharing the day with my husband.

The tour and information provided by the balsamic factory was fantastic. Our guide was late to collect us. She was not able to answer any questions about the cheese factory and nothing of any depth fir the surrounding areas appropriate to the factories we were visiting.

I am sorry to hear that one of our best tours was not to your liking. Sometimes in Florence, for reasons beyond our control, we are a little late in picking up our clients, which does not mean that you would miss any of the tour. Enotropea selects the guides very carefully for this type of tour and we believe they are the right ones for the job. In your case Daria came to be with you and then as I understand at various points in the tour she had a conversation with Fabian, who gave her additional information. You are complaining about one person, Daria, who agreed, without requiring more money, to drop you off at the station in Bologna and help you with your luggage, when that is not part of her job.
I hope that when you return to Florence you will be able to do another tour with us and Angel will be your guide personally.

My guide was Daria and we had such a lovely and fun day! My favorite stop by far was the balsamic vinegar factory! It was beautiful and they had a gluten free lunch for me! Best balsamic of my life!!! The day was soooo perfect, I would highly recommend!

Angel was our guide and he was excellent. As the title says it was fun, informative and interesting. Learned a lot especially from the farm where they make the incredible balsamic. The meal was delicious and the experience overall was fantastic. We’d highly recommend this tour for those interested in these Italian specialities.

We did a private tour, just myself, husband, and tour guide. It was fantastic! We learned so much about Italy and the generations of families who manage farms and vineyards to produce the most amazing balsamic vinegar, parmesan cheese and prosciutto. We started this day-long tour from Florence. Be prepared for a lot of driving, and possible traffic! Besides that, I highly recommend this tour for any foodie!

Pauola gave a wonderful tour of the cheese plant then guided through other tastings and plant tours throughout the day. She made the day special by allowing us to go at our own pace while giving us a great amount of information and friendly tidbits about the area. This tour was not only one of the highlights of my Italy trip, but it was also an experience and lunch I will never forget. belén was an expert guide and was warm and welcoming. We opted for the Lambrusco visit over the prosciutto as we are veg, and it was so fun! The cheese factory was fascinating and the tastings were delicious and plentiful. The absolute highlight was the balsamic tour, tasting, and lunch. That was truly an experience I will not forget and one of the best meals of my life- you have never tasted balsamic like this before! If you are on the fence, I can assure you it is well worth the money. I cannot wait to return to Modena! Truly a bucket list day.

This was by far the best tour my wife and I have ever been on. We loved the schedule of the tour and our guide, "Bella", was awesome. Bella was kind, knowledgeable and explained things to us prior, during and after each tour (stop). I don’t know if there are words enough to describe how amazing this tour was. Our guide Angel lived up to his name and provided probably the best tour that we have ever been on. We were able to taste a bit of everything including the best ricotta I have ever had. I only wish that I was able to take some home. The employees/owners of each of the locations where so kind and welcoming. The lunch provided at the acetaia was delicious with a perfect view.
Spend the money for this tour, you won’t regret it.

Our family loves to cook, so this day in Modena and Emilia–Romagna countryside was a mecca of sorts. Our guide, Fabian, was well informed and never rushed the day. Lunch at the secret restaurant was fabulous. It was fascinating to see the pride and passion that goes into making these treasures from Italy. The acetaia was beautiful and the drive through the countryside calming.
