Private tour of Florence with Irina.

Connie_S, Oct 2025
We had the privilege of a private walking tour with Irina of the Accademia Museum and Florence Town Center. Irina is exceptionally knowledgeable and storyteller talent to bring the events and characters to life. Irina’s English is excellent. This tour with Irina was the best we’ve had in Italy.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Dear Connie, Thank you so much for your beautiful words! It was a true pleasure to guide you through the Accademia and the heart of Florence. I’m so happy to know that you enjoyed the stories and felt the city’s history come to life — that’s exactly what I hope to share with every guest. Your warmth and enthusiasm made the tour such a joy for me as well. Wishing you many more wonderful adventures in Italy and beyond! With warm regards, Irina

Irina brings Florence alive!

Julie_P, Jul 2025
We had an outstanding walking tour in Florence with Irina, and I can’t recommend her enough. She guided us through the Accademia Museum with incredible insight, especially when discussing Michelangelo’s David—her depth of knowledge brought the statue to life in a new way. After the museum, Irina led us on a thoughtful walking tour of Florence, focusing on its rich art history. Her storytelling around the influence of the Medici family was captivating and added so much context to what we were seeing. Irina’s passion for Florence and its history made the entire experience unforgettable. A true professional and a fantastic guide.

Response from Host, Jul 2025

Dear Julie, Reading your message truly touched me—thank you from the bottom of my heart for your beautiful words. It was such a joy to spend that time with you and your husband in Florence. Sharing the story of David, walking through the city’s historic streets, and diving into the world of the Medici together felt like more than just a tour—it felt like a shared journey into the soul of the city I love so deeply. Wishing you continued wonder in your travels—and if you ever return to Florence, I would love nothing more than to welcome you back. With warmest regards, Irina

A great tour of Accademia Gallery and important landmarks in Florence

Stephen_C, May 2024
Tour began at Accademia Art Gallery, followed by a walking tour of some important landmarks. Our guide Irina was passionate and knowledgeable. More important, she made the history come alive with pictures on her iPad, insightful commentary, and humor.

Irina is the best tour guide!!

Gayeta_P, Apr 2024
Our tour guide Irina was fantastic and so well-versed in the history of Florence. Rather than just viewing the statue of David, she brought to life the creation of the statue itself. The details that we learned about the evolution of the ruling parties, major players and churches of Florence made Florence come to life for us!!

One of the best tours in Italy!

Robbie_W, Sep 2023
We had a fabulous time and Irina was the BEST host a detour guide. She showed us everything expected and discussed in detail information regarding all the exhibits (but not too much). She also recommended “real” gelato and gave us time to purchase some!
