Great tour for your first day.

Stephanie_M, Mar 2024
A great way to get an overview of the city. The guide engaged the kids and shared lots of interesting facts and history about the city.

Highly recommended for touring with young kids

Mark_E, Mar 2024
Had a great time seeing the city with kids engaged and not complaining! Our guide was very good with our kids and made sense of the structures and art around us.

Great, private tour

Andrea_A, Jun 2023
Our guide Martina was wonderful! We loved being a private tour group and being flexible and able to ask questions. Our boys, 11 and 9, even loved it!

Perfect Tour for Family

Emily_C, Apr 2023
My family LOVED this tour! I have three kids (ages 9-15) and they were really engaged throughout this morning. Martina was excellent and made the experience so fun for them, particularly interacting with my 9-year-old. We all learned just enough about Florence but weren't overloaded with information. Was perfect for my family! I would highly recommend Martina!!

Great way to experience Florence with family.

Illaria was truly amazing. She kept our children engaged and interested during the entire experience. She had both great energy and patience. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with kids.

Great family walking tour of Florence

Julia was a great tour guide. She engaged our kids the whole time. She knew the city so well from the well-known sites to fun facts and things we would’ve never noticed.

Excellent guide for kids!

Christopher_L, Feb 2020
Our guide was amazing with our 6 and 7 year old kids! She brought us around the small town of Florence and showed us the sights. No part of the tour brings you into any buildings, museums, or cathedrals. It's a good tour to start your Florence vacation with, because it gives you an idea of what you'd like to see more of later.

Thanks Rachele!

Alex_H, Jan 2020
My girls loved their adventure through Florence with Rachele! She was patient, kind, and fun with my 4 and 1 year olds. We had the best gelato too! We recommend this tour to anyone with kids because regular walking tours can get boring for them. This was something extra special that allowed the adults to see the city as well.

Family tour in the center of Florence

Redin_S, Sep 2019
Our three kids loved the tour! Ilaria Perini (our guide) was great, she caught their attention, and the kids enjoyed the whole tour ( although of different age 4, 7 and 12 years old). From the moment we met her, we felt welcomed and in a friendly environment. The scenery was beautiful and we got a lot of new information (although we had previously visited Florence). We really recommend this tour to other families with young kids like ours.

Awesome Tour of Florence for the Whole Family

We did a 2 and half hour walking tour with Giulia. She was sensational! Dynamic, informative and lovely with our children (12, 9 & 5). Highly recommend this tour for the whole family. 5 stars!!!

Perfect Afternoon!

Tiffany_E, Jun 2019
We have 4 girls (ages 5, 9, 9 and 11) and we met Rachelle for this tour at 2 in the afternoon. This was the first thing we did when we got to Florence, and it was a great way to start our visit. The tour was private, with just our family. Rachelle showed us all the popular spots and gave us plenty of time to see what we wanted to. She was great with the kids of all ages. She took our 5 year olds hand while walking to make sure there were no incidents with cars, but talked to the other kids at their more grown up level. She did a great job using the points system to keep the kids entertained and to create a little friendly competition between parents and kids. I loved that the points sort of recapped and ensured they soaked in the history. They were so interested in the history that they even forgot about the points at some times. I definitely recommend this trip. I loved where it ended, leaving us easy access to the leather market and to eat at San Lorenzo, but we were also able to walk back to the Duomo for our 6pm tour there.

A great walking tour of Florence for adults and kids. Rachele did a great job pointing out little details and involving the kids throughout the tour... and even more impressive was able to keep our band together through the massive tourist season crowds

Laurie_S, Jul 2018
Finally a tour that my child was excited about! It made a big difference to have a tour leader who knew how to engage and interact with a child! Rachele was very energetic, and my daughter had fun following her clues! I definitely recommend this tour for families with kids. The only difficulty we had is that we thought the tour would end in the San Lorenzo market. We didn't end up there, however. I asked the tour leader how to get there, and she pointed the direction out, but we ended up getting really lost. I wish she had taken us there. The tour ended early, so I am not sure why the tour leader did not walk us to San Lorenzo market. Other than that issue, the tour was great!

Fun Florence Tour with Valeria

Michael O, Jun 2018
Our first visit to Florence as a family and the kids really enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Valeria, was full of good energy, humor and knowledge and kept the kids really engaged throughout the 2.5 hour tour. Thank you!

Maliza J, Apr 2018
Our children are teenagers and were made to feel unwanted by the guide who made comments when we first met such as they are not kids and by not providing a clip board to my kids for the scavenger hunt. As indicated when I booked, my kids were 13 and 15. There was no indication that this would not be appropriate for them.

We absolutely loved it! We did a private family tour and Giovanna was our guide. She was fantastic. Both kids age 7 and 12 were fully engaged even though our little one wasn't feeling well, she still wanted to complete her games with Giovanna. It was an easy walking tour, even in 100 degree weather. The adults even learned a lot about the history of Florence, which has so much history and incredible beauty. Giovanna texted the day before the tour to touch base, which was helpful in connecting at our meeting place the following day. The tour was a highlight of our week in Tuscany. Thank you!

Emilia, our guide, was very knowledgable, friendly and fun. Our kids really liked her as well. We all learned a lot and Emilia had so much more to teach. She is one of the best guides we had. I would highly recommend her. Thank you for everything, Emilia! Love from Toronto.

Our tour guide, Vanessa, was very knowledgeable and interesting. It was difficult to keep the kids together so many people but we rallied around them and kept them focussed.

Marco, our guide, was perfect. He tailored his tour to the kids and also the adults. We saw things in Rome we would have otherwise never seen, things easily overlooked in the hustle of getting from one place to another. After almost a week of vacation, the kids enjoyed listening to someone else other than their parents. Marco had treat, prizes, and competitions that kept them going from the beginning to the very end of the tour. I highly recommend as a tour where both kids and parents will enjoy their time.

Michaela was an excellent guide. We learned new things on this tour even though we took a part asking your earlier in the week. Did a nice job with kids (5 and 7). Took a detour to grab gelato at recommended place. Kids enjoyed the games and prizes! Thank you!

Sheryll_T, Feb 2017
We were the only ones in the tour. So we stopped when our kids were tired or had breaks when needed. It's a walking tour so be prepared. You will just see the sights but not go in. It's perfect for families with young kids but the older kids and parents want to sightsee in Florence. Our tour guide Valentina had a bag of goodies and gifts for the kids so they had to pay attention to the tour. The kids loved the trinkets which were little souvenirs of Florence. Since it's a small tour group / or just your family, the tour can be catered to your needs or be as slow or as fast as you want.

Valentina was an excellent tour guide and entertained my 4 and 2 year very well. She was prepared with markers and clip boards for the kids to keep track of their points and the tablet she brought was awesome. She was very knowledgeable and very kind. Perfect tour for kids of all ages.VERY IMPRESSED

If you're visiting Florence with young kids, then this tour is the way to go. Information was broken up into fun, fascinating facts, and the pace was just right to keep up with the attention span of our kids. My son, who I thought has the memory of a gnat, can remember details about the places we visited . We adults learnt a lot too! I would definitely book this tour again!
