Roberto was an excellent host and we had a great time cooking with him. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! The food was delicious and we are excited to share our pasta making knowledge with our family.

Be prepared to have fun while you prepare actually great gluten free pasta. Roberto is an excellent teacher with much patience and good humor. My husband grumbled about taking this class. Who was the one who had the most fun? Yes himself! We have never taken the time to book something like this. We are traveling with our granddaughter and her boyfriend. This was her choice for the daily activity and she made a fun and wise choice. Roberto is fantastic. We are leaving Florence with a new skill to take home to share with more family and friends. Take this class! You won’t be sorry.

I highly recommend this class!! If you are in Florence, it’s a must do if you are gluten free . We were in Italy on a girls trip. I am the only one who has Celiac and was excited to see this class. We agreed and everyone had such a great time! It was the best decision and first for all of us taking a pasta making class. Roberto is a great teacher and chef! He has a lot of patience too. He made the class fun, lots of laughs all while learning, plus the unlimited wine lol! We had a great group of girls who were also doing the class. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. We have the memories and now the skills & knowledge to make pasta for a lifetime! Thank you Roberto!

The experience was wonderful! The chef immediately let my partner and I know of potential air cross contamination of gluten but ensured us that every ingredient we would be using was gluten free. The chef is also celiac so he was very understanding and knowledgeable about everything. The chef was kind, funny, and very helpful to each person when making the pasta. It was overall and very great experience and would 10/10 do this again!

Being gluten free it was hard for me to find a cooking class that would fit my dietary needs. I am so happy we found this class. My husband and my 12 year old really enjoyed it. Very family friendly and the chef kept everything light and fun. He made sure to engage with all the children in this class, as well as adults. The class was so much fun and the food was delicious! If you’re questioning on whether to book this, do it! You will not regret it!

BOOK IT! This class was AMAZING because of Roberto, our chef and teacher, who was so great, so patient, so funny and kind! We have two adult kids who have celiac, so finding this class was great…..but actually cooking and eating the food was INCREDIBLE! Everyone loved it and nobody would suspect it was gluten free ….but it is. Schedule this class into your visit to Florence - you will be so glad you did!

I recently discovered that I was gluten sensitive and was wondering, how could I manage eating in Italy? Well, not only did I find restaurants that provide gluten-free options I found a class to teach me how to make gluten-free pasta at home!! At Taverna Dei Servi we were met with Roberto's expertise in this process which was a God send! Thank you so much for the lessons and the conversation. My wife and I enjoyed our time here very much. Now we can do it ourselves at home with a little feel of Italy.
