    Fantastic, knowledgeable guide!

Aida rocks! It was great to have an art historian running the tour. For one thing, we weren’t rushed the way other tours are. Aida spent time at each location, sat us down and we had a great back and forth conversation about the renaissance and how it came about. 10/10 tour!

    An amazing tour for nerds

Aida is an incredibly talented storyteller, and she took us through the story of Florence over the ages, and the personalities and works that shaped the renaissance. I was an art major and she reminded me how much I'd forgotten over the years and taught us a lot of things we simply didn't know. We had our 16 year old with us and we thought the content might lose or 'bore' him, but it was quite the opposite. He later told us that it was one of his favorite parts of our Italy trip and he wished all of his school classes were as engaging. The talk and tour is nerdy, and awesome, and funny, and well worth it. And you'll carry the information and 'perspective' throughout your travels and perhaps you won't see all of that other art the same way again.

    Innamorarsi di Brunelleschi

Our tour guide Aida has a great passion for the Renaissance and a gigantic crush on Felipe Brunelleschi. She walked us through the Middle Ages and into The Rebirth, ending with a peek at Baroque. Her joy for the subject was contagious and her wit allowed for a deep and lasting understanding of the knowledge she shared. Recommended for art nerds, history nerds, architecture nerds and all who care to understand the importance of Florentine influence on world culture.
