This was a lot of fun. Some of the people in our group couldn't make it last minute so it was just me, my husband and our 12 year old grandson. The puzzles were challenging but very clever. A lot of time and thought were put into this game and it shows. Would 100% do another one if it was different puzzles.
Unique way to explore the riverfront are of downtown Cincinnati. Enjoyed being able to stop and play or eat and then continue the game. Some of the challenges were too hard for kids but the hints were helpful.
We really enjoyed the experience. We had a massive group (bigger than they have ever hosted) and it was great and worked out just fine. Everyone enjoyed the game and walking around Cincinnati, which is far more beautiful than I ever knew. Only reason my review is not 5 star is because there were a couple of clues that we could not access due to things outside of the company’s control. I only wish we knew that before booking.
It’s fun, but slow-moving with younger kids. Each clue involves thinking/figuring out a puzzle. It was a hot day. But overall, it is active, it teaches you about Cincinnati, its parks, and history, and makes your brain work! Small Park and the Black Music Park are awesome!
First I went to pick up the box, only to find out it’s $50 at the store and $75 on viator. Myself, husband and two teens went. I have used viator for years for tours and Have loved every tour.
This was way overpriced, clues impossible. What fun is it if you have to use all the hints. Without the hints you couldn’t have figured it out. I want my money back. The worst experience for a family.
It was a great time even with the rain. I recommend checking the weather app beforehand and come prepared. Bring a bag, note pad, water, umbrella/rain gear if needed.
Though it seems details are scant when booking, they will be forthcoming! Look out for an email/text to confirm details. We did this activity on a whim, and I’m so glad we did! It was three adults and two teens, and we had a blast exploring downtown Cincy. We saw things we never have before, and learned a lot more about downtown’s history. The clues were much harder than we anticipated and definitely had to use all the clues. We tried our best! Things you will need: a charged phone (you need it for pics and clues), walking shoes (you will be walking and navigating stairs), someone to record (it’s helpful to write down things to figure out clues and sometimes you have to, a pen is provided), and a sense of adventure! This activity ideally takes 3-4 hours so you have time to appreciate each spot and definitely if you plan to figure out the clues without the hints! I highly recommend this activity with friends or family (ages 12 and up) no matter if you’re new to Cincy or lived here your whole life!
A great experience that takes you to some neat areas in Cincinnati. I highly recommend it if you are in the area and looking for a good 2-3 hour puzzle-solving adventure.
