Really enjoyed this food tour in Encinitas! We enjoyed the tour Ben gave us. It’s a lot of fun to hear about some general history and “locals” kind of details regarding the area, all while enjoying great food and conversation. Encinitas is a super cute little town too! Definitely recommend this tour.
Sue was the greatest! Be prepared to come hungry. The Encinitas food tour started out with fresh-baked donuts. I have never had a donut that fresh! Then onto yummy sliders, airy pizza, a delicious taco, and ended with organic ice cream and a chocolate chip cookie that was out of this world. Sue's knowledge of the town was great; she showed us the alley art and ship homes and discussed each of the mom & pop stops with background information. I highly recommend this tour!
We had a nice variety of food tastings. Ben shared lots of interesting information. We enjoyed seeing things we would not have discovered on our own.

Ben provided a wonderful tour of Encinitas! We loved each restaurant/cafe and also the historical spots! Artwork was also introduced to us!
This tour was a nice mixture of good food and information about Encinitas. The restaurant selection gave us good places to return to during the remainder of our stay, and the food samples that our guide, Ben, selected were an excellent introduction to some things we probably wouldn’t have tried if we had chosen from the menus. All of them were excellent.
Our guide David was very knowledgeable and not only introduced us to some fantastic eateries but gave us lots of the interesting history and stories about Carlsbad.
Had a great time on this tour. Veronica was outstanding and so pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed all the stops, and we got more than enough food. Definitely would recommend this tour. Go hungry!!!
