The Secret Food Tour in Obuda with our guide Zoltan was awesome! We learned a lot of Hungary’s history and ate traditional Hungarian food along the way. Definitely a tour you do not want to miss.

Enjoyable tour with Zoltan.

Lovely food tour with Zoltan and five fellow foodies around Zoltan's neighbourhood. The stops included a pastry shop for strudel, a butcher's shop for an array of hot and cold meats, a restaurant for stuffed cabbage (my favourite dish of the tour) and a wine shop for cheese, wine and palinka. Very enjoyable and Zoltan was very knowledgeable about the food and the history of his region.

Really fun tour in a lesser known area

We had such a wonderful time on this tour! Zoltan was a wonderful guide! Very funny and fun to hang out with for a day. He was very knowledgeable and open. All the food was excellent. It was fun to see and learn about a different part of Budapest besides the city center. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Secret Food tour was a great experience, we would 100% recommend it . We were taken to three restaurants serving authentic Hungarian food ; which we wouldn’t have known if not going on the secret Food tour. A special mention for George , our tour guide, who was amazing & knowledgeable because he not only spoke to us about the background of the different dishes we tasted but spoke to us about the Hungarian history and culture! That was an added bonus. We were so impressed with the tour and George in particular that we want to do this tour again with our friends! Just a small suggestion- please serve smaller portions sizes.
