River tour showing the sparliest bits of Budapest!

The tour lasts an hour and shows of Budapest from the unique perspective of the river. The staff were friendly, welcoming, spoke impeccable English and were helpful in explaining how to order drinks, food and how to access the rooftop area. The historic audio tour was very informative. Even our teenagers were enthusiastic!

Could hardly hear taped “guide”, as it’s very loud inside. Tables are packed, shoulder to shoulder; no view. We arrived 20+ minutes in advance to get a good seat. 5 minutes before boarding, staff came by and asked if we had tickets. We showed them, and they redirected us to another line, where we were almost the last to board.

Only the 1st 30 min of the cruise are nice - then it's just a normal boat ride. Also there are no audio guides handed out and the upper deck could not even cover 50% of all the people. I recommend to go to the river and check directly on the spot. For me the 12€ is not with the trip as they don't comply their word of an audioguide!

The boat is comfy, but it’s very cold at night so make sure you’re wearing proper clothes, the stuff is very kind and helping. The French jazz music really sets the mood, we also got hot chocolate which made the experience 10 times better. Overall it was the best part of our trip, alongside the chairlift in Budapest, thank you so much

Bit of a cattle market at first with everyone queuing along the rivers edge without any guidance given as to what to do. View from the boat very worth while if you get a window seat

Fairly average experience to be honest. Felt like too many people on the boat with most seats not being able to see much at all, some even looking directly at a wall. I advise lining up at least 1 hour early to get a semi decent seat.

Fantastic cruise staff were all good, boat left on time free welcome drink was well appreciated, all the sights lit up at night were fantastic. Only gripe was lining up to wait for the cruise was a little chaotic with people not lining up and waiting there turn to board that was frustrating and with the welcome drink wait until a little while into the cruise as the 1 poor girl behind the bar was getting overwhelmed but all on all highly recommend for what you pay, the sights are fantastic.

The ride is ok and cheap, but they allow smoking (even the crew was doing it) in the top area, which is not completely open (take that into account if all you want is to tale pictures). It ruined part of the experience for me.

Completed the cruise at sunset - was beautiful to see the city transform as the buildings/bridges lit up. Wish the boat had removed the tarp roof for a better view - looking out/taking pictures through the window was not as good.

A Wonderful Cruise

I had originally booked the cruise in the morning hours, but Viatours contacted me that the tour at that hour was cancelled and gave me other options. We chose the early evening tour. It was organized, left on time and was very scenic. The only problem was that they gave us a bonus--every passenger recived a chip for a free drink. But only two girls worked the bar counter and people waited a very long time to get their drinks. If this is going to be offered again, i suggest manning the bar with more personnel. Otherwise, the cruise was very good.

The cruise is 70 minutes long, a good way to see the city at night. It is a bit of a pity that you have to see everything through the windows, no outer decks. Almost fully booked and it got really noisy at times. I recommend to get there early to board the ship as soon as possible to get the best seats for good views.

Great way to see parts of Budapest

It was a nice ride until I was harassed by an older guy. The older guy kept on touching my back/shoulder and taking pictures of me so I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the tour because I was uncomfortable and on edge. I’d like to thank the male staff member and guests who helped me and told the man to stop (the person still harassed me after). There wasn’t much they could do since were enclosed on a boat in the middle of the river 😅 They have a bar at the back of the boat with some snacks. Also be warned that there is no audio guide. For the part of the tour I could enjoy, I used google maps to figure out what I was looking at.
