Great history of the Jewish Quarter
Visits to the Rambah and Doheny synagogues. Timea Tarjani, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and friendly.

Our Favorite Day in Budapest was with Timi
Beyond grateful for the privilege of having Timi share with us the Jewish Quarter. Her knowledge, perspective and understanding of all the encompasses the history of the Jewish Quarter was exceptional. She was beyond generous with her time and kindness. Book this walk and you’ll be so glad you did!

An extremely memorable tour
I felt like we (my sister and I), were connecting with a long lost cousin with Timea. She was so warm, her energy was incredible. She is so knowledgeable about all things Jewish, Hungarian and the history of Jews in Hungary, especially Budapest. Timea is still extremely active in the Jewish community, and has preserved her Jewish faith along to her four children. It was fascinating to hear about the Jewish community that exists now in Budapest. Our family on our fathers side was Hungarian and I just assumed mainly all the Jews had left after the Holocaust, but there is still a strong Jewish community in Budapest, which gives me lots of hope and shows the resilience of our people. The Jews live on..B’H

Our most memorable tour... ever.
Best way to sum up the tour, our most memorable... ever. Tarjani, our guide, created a meaningful, informative, yet personal walk thru Budapest's Jewish Quarter. We appreciated her stories and attention to detail while sharing with us her personal connection to the area. Tarjani addressed our many questions with patience and interest ensuring we finished the tour with an even great appreciation for how the people of the Quarter lived and endured. Could not recommend joining her for a tour more highly. She is amazing. Tarjani, thank you, as you made our walk thru the Jewish Quarter very meaningful.
