Tour left promptly from downtown Budapest. Bus was very comfortable. The driver Sabi was very capable driving through narrow and curvy turns. Our guide Adam was very informative and kept us on schedule. The sights along the day trip were beautiful and well thought out! Lunch was fabulous and was in such a lovely spot. The boat ride back to Budapest from Szentendre was a great way to end the tour. Would highly recommend this tour. Well worth the price! Thank you!

The guide Maria gave us lots of interesting facts and information about the places we were visiting, as well as Budapest and Hungary in general. Lovely group of people and nice lunch, all in all a very good tour. Well timed and not rushed.

Thank you for choosing Eurama!

This was good. It gave us a chance to see other parts of Hungary. Sites were good. Guide was good however, the multi language is a bother at times.

Too long without breaks on the coach. Air con was not turned on properly to save money. The guide was excellent but the tour didn’t work. We expected time at the Danube bend, a church that wasn’t 3/4 covered in scaffolding more than a quick drive around the roundabout in Slovenia and more than 40mins in the artists village before being time pressured to take the final boat back . The boat was excellent the tour guide Katherine was excellent the other guide had such bad BO we all felt quite sick as we were closed into the coach with him.
This trip needs more stops and more time in the village and water provided free of charge especially when the air con isn’t turned on properly ! Lunch was good but took too long to serve and was cold on arrival.

Great experience to learn more about the history of Hungary! Seeing these towns outside of Budapest was great and the lunch stop had spectacular views!

It was an absolutely great tour but as we couldn’t hear the commentary above the air conditioning we spent longer than we should have at the first stop in Slovakia. We didn’t realise that we needed euros (we should have) and spend our time looking for a cash machine to purchase some in order to use the loo. We are very sorry for our oversight and would like to apologise to the driver, very worried superb guide and to the other passengers.
The tour itself was very enjoyable and we met some great people. We had a lovely lunch and shared the table with a wonderful couple. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and it ended on a high with a return boat journey. It certainly was value for money as it lasted over 9 hours.

Can honestly just do yourself. Ultimately was two stops and a river cruise. It was great for meeting other travelers, but not the crowd you'd meet if you wanted to link up afterwards. The AC bus was nice, but doubt you couldn't see the same things in less time on your own.
4 v 3 stars just because the driver and tour guide were great.

The places in the tour in general were very good. But the tour guide was not very helpful with our family. We traveled with a baby and more than once he would leave us with no explanation. When asked to wait a bit he replied very sarcastically.

The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Good experience and matched the description of what was advertised

An interesting experience, led by an excellent guide, that involve a bus tour past an importing castle, beautiful scenery and quaint downtown Sentender, completed by a boat ride back to Budapest. The mid-trip lunch was not memorable.

Great original itinerary but had to amend due to the Danube flooding. Had a scenic country ride from city to city & back to Budapest. Vista spots were beautiful. Lunch venue was breath-taking.

I felt this experience would be a good way to see a few places outside of Budapest when I was in Hungary. Unfortunately it was just not enough time in each of the locations and the lunch was a bit of a disappointment.
I wish we had spent more time in Esztergorm than just at the cathedral because it looked like a nice town. Instead we spent more time on the coach going to our lunch location (partly due to a detour we had to take because of flooding). Sadly the lunch was in a restaurant that just overlooked Visegrad and we didn't go to the fort at all. The lunch was pretty mediocre and lukewarm and also took up too much time in the day.
I enjoyed visiting Szentendre but sadly only spent an hour there total.
I wish the tour therefore could be more time in Esztergorm, a visit to Visegrad itself and then Szentendre, where you could get the option to have lunch there.

Nice day out, exploring the Hungarian countryside.
Lunch in a very scenic spot was very good.
Cruise was relaxing

Interesting tour. Attila is a very knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humour. Boat cruise back to Budapest was a nice end of the trip. Would definitely recommend.
Marion_M, Jul 2024
A very interesting and enjoyable trip. Crossing the border into Slovakia seemed unnecessary and it would have been nicer to spend the extra time in Szentendre
Don_D, Jul 2024
This trip included a stop at the Esztergom Basilica / Cathedral. The second stop at Visegrad is basically lunch with a view of the former royal residence. The buss then takes you on to Szentendre, where you basically walk around a little town. The final leg of the trip is on a public boat back to Budapest. Our group was around 25 - as advertised but the tour was conducted in both English and Italian, so we lingered 2x as long everywhere we went.

This trip was a disappointment, most of the time you are on an older tour bus, the guide had a poor presentation voice and bad audio, the restaurant had great views but average food.
The boat was uncomfortable, smelled of fuel
and the group waited a lot of the time to begin the next experience . Spend your day elsewhere.

This trip was worth taking. Very scenic. Enjoyed the lunch on the mountain top. Food was good. Our guide was very informative and we learned a lot of the history of Budapest.

This tour was nicely paced with a good lunch. The sites were beautiful and relatively quiet on the day we went and the group was nice. This was guided in three languages which sometimes made the explanations long but Atilla was an attentive and informed guide

This tour was a waste of time and money. I was in the back of the van and so I couldn't hear a word he was saying the whole time. Even when we got out to see things we would race off a head of people and if you couldn't keep up you never knew what he had described because he wouldn't wait until everyone got together. This was not organized very well. We stopped and was told if we needed to use the restrooms it was a walk in the other direction. What we weren't told was the restrooms only took Euros not Hungarian money. This should have been something mentioned before I walked up to the restrooms. By the time I got back he was loading the bus to leave. I also think two hours is too long to spend in a small town just to shop. It's fine if that's your thing but for people who don't like to shop it was wasted time. This wasn't exactly how the tour was described, very misleading. The only positive thing about the whole tour was the meal, hats off to the restaurant.

Very knowledgeable tour guide Elizabeth. Enjoyable day out. Plenty of information. Delicious lunch. Very relaxed and plenty of time for shopping for local art and craft.

Strendenze was nice but too much time
Marzipan museum was ok
Lunch was ok. The dessert was not good. Almost everybody left it

Seeing the country side and small villages... along with the history... pleasant trip away from the city

I would like to get my refunds because this was
a terrible tour experience for me. First of all the tour company didn’t pick me up from the hotel. After I called they said that I have to have my own transport. I got the taxi and reached there and then the tour guide didn’t explain if the Basilica will be closed and there was no vegetarian meals. We didn’t see the any of the places shown in as photos on this tour such as Visgard and no tickets were provided for any of the excursions so whole trip was waist. My valuables vacations time was lost entirely for whole day. I would like to get my refunds back and compensation for the day. On my this trip I had booked total three trips the other two were fantastic except this one which was worse in my entire life.
Thanks for your assistance.

The amazing views were worth the trip. Lunch was delicious and the cruise back to Budapest relaxed. A long but enjoyable day
Paul_W, Sep 2023
The tour oprator did not mention that the main cathedral is under restoration. Almost everything to see inside is under wraps. The tour operator had 3 languages to contend with, so commentary was very limited.
Debra_M, Aug 2023
We had a lovely day seeing the towns along the river and it was good to get out of the city. Our guide was very informative and very knowledgeable.
It was great not to have to worry about finding our own lunch. One young lady serving at the restaurant was very rude and she didn't want to serve us but that was her problem. Overall, the lunch was lovely and in such a beautiful spot overlooking the river. Some really great camera shots. The trip back on the ferry was an excellent way to end the trip.
