We got to the Lake Hotel...

We got to the Lark Hotel and I couldn't figure out what the tour guide was talking about as I did not see what was being described as I walked in. Also, much of the time, there was so much street traffic and noise that we could not hear much from the phone as we walked, so we just gave up and went shopping.

The concept behind this tour is good, but unfortunately it wasn't the right fit for us. Getting started was more complicated than we expected, as we had to spend quite a bit of time downloading apps and figuring out how everything worked before we could begin. Once we got going, we found the experience less engaging than we had anticipated. One thing worth mentioning is that we didn't grow up in the United States, so many of the historical references, names, and cultural context didn't mean much to us. International visitors may have a different experience than those who are familiar with American history and culture. I would also recommend being more transparent in the booking information about how the tour works, including the apps or setup required before starting. It would be helpful to suggest the best days and times to take the tour as well. We booked it on a Sunday, and many of the places mentioned were closed, so we weren't able to go inside or fully experience several stops. Overall, I think this tour could be a good choice for people who enjoy self-guided historical experiences and already have some knowledge of the local history. Still, a little more guidance beforehand would make it much more enjoyable for a wider audience.

Fantastic easy informative walking tour of downtown Bozeman. So much history right under your nose. Love that the GPS knows where you are. The directions were easy to follow.

Tour guide gives a nice overview of each stop -interesting facts. Easy to use and pause as you go-we stopped in shops and was able to resume tour no problem.

This app waa wonderful. It was very helpful in calling out the important, historical sites in Bozeman. My only complaint is Bozeman is the only walking tour in Montana and I visited multiple cities. Overall, I found it user friendly and the operator was readily available when I called for assistance.
