Excellent overview of history of Helen! Perfect pace and great activities along the way. Tour guide was knowledgeable, interesting and made the tour fun and tailored to our interests. Highly recommend!

Could be fun and informative lots of information and history most people don't know about. Places we might not have found The downside of this tour was the guy walked way too fast for us. I had trouble keeping up. There were two ladies with canes and she walked very very fast and at the end, they walked away from me and I didn't even find them, so I didn't even finish the tour with them. She should've waited and make sure everybody was with her. I didn't like that at all.

Knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Brent was able to answer all questions and was quite charming. Has a good sense of humor and went out of his way to ensure everyone was enjoying the tour.

The tour itself was a good way to get your steps in. The tour guide was nice & provided good customer service. I rated the tour just 2 stars due to the appearance & hygiene of the tour guide Claire. Claire stunk like she had a house full of cats. What appeared to be cat hair covered every inch of her bag. Her clothes looked dirty. Her hair still had bed head where you could see all her Ktip weave that was added. Her makeup was not even blended as if she had to rush to get dress.
Due to her smell I was unable to walk close to even hear what she was saying. Claire had to read from a notebook she carried, different from any other tour I've been on. She did say this was only her 3rd or 4th tour. Her appearance was a big distraction for me being able to absorb the information of the town.
Overall everything on the tour was not worth paying for. The wine tasting is free without being on the tour. The samples at the candy store is for anyone. Keep your money & just enjoy a walk through Helen on your Own.

Meh. Look at the itinerary and then do everything on your own. Nothing is gained from this tour. Helen isn’t an authentic German town, so there’s really nothing to learn. And the man who led the tour basically called me and my other 50-something friends old in front of the other tour guests, which was honestly unnecessary and uncool. Don’t bother to sign up for this tour—especially if you can walk, read WIKI for yourself, and you’re over 50.

Guide was very informative and did a good job of the history of the town and must see places. Very thorough tour with a lot of walking and some wine/moonshine tasting was the added bonus.

The tour seemed lackluster for the amount of walking involved. There was very little content during the tour, and felt more like a 2 hour walk workout. It could be better with more direct storefront involvement and activities.

Brent and Lilly were AWESOME tour guides and gave us a well-rounded tour of the must-see spots when visiting Helen. It was a lot of fun and a great way to learn the history of how the little village town became what it is today! They were fun, engaging, and we appreciated their personal touches on the experience. This was a wonderful, thorough introduction to Helen, Georgia. It's a great way to have an overview of the city and learn about its history. I would recommend doing this the first day you arrive as a way to determine which activities you'd like to spend more time on during the remainder of your trip.

Highly recommended tour we visited a lot of places and tour guides made the tour fun and dynamic.. they were very patient and nice so this tour is worth it and recommended if visiting Helen location!
