We booked a Greek food tasting tour and was met by a lovely young lady (Gari with an i and not y)! Her knowledge and friendliness were exceptional. We would definitely recommend you use only this guide. We enjoyed our experience so much, we booked the afternoon tour as well, so we could spend the whole day with her. It was like walking around with a friend that we had known years, not someone that we had Just met.

It was an amazing experience tasting foods of a different country and culture was a great experience
One of the best food tour, lucky to have the guide to myself which was an unexpected and wonderful experience. My guide was super knowledgeable and proud of her city.
Danae was very knowledgeable and made the experience so much fun. I got a great variety of food to taste and it was an excellent introduction to the city and the culture! Highly recommend.
My guide was great - friendly and knowledgeable, making the tour enjoyable. I was the only one on the tour, possibly due to the weather, which made it more personal. Than you Diana (and I'm sorry for probably spelling your name wrong)
Lilly was our guide through the amazing open air markets of Athens. We started with real Greek coffee, and moved on to more authentic foods that we had no prior experience with. Lilly asked us about different Greek foods we had tried previously and made sure we got to taste completely different things. It was fun, informative, and satisfying to the taste buds.

Athena was a wonderful guide and tremendously friendly. We did several walking food tours in Greece and I highly recommend them - there are few better ways to get a true experience of the authentic culture of a city than via its cuisine through the eyes of a local. Athena not only took us to numerous delicious spots but was able to answer our all of our groups questions about Athens as well as make recommendations for other spots to visit. Show up hungry because she takes you through what felt like three meals worth of food over the course of the tour!
Lilly is a great tour guide - she really took us into the heart of Athens to experience wonderful people and great food.
The Taste of Athens Food Tour was great. Our guide was knowledgeable about food and Athens history/culture. The size of the group (10) made it manageable and we were able to experience small restaurants rather than large tourist spots. The food selection was great abd there was a lot. Highly recommended!
This was an amazing opportunity, with so many wonderful food to try and culture to take in. Athina was our tour guide, she was great! Was so kind and knowledgeable about anything and everything we asked. The Monastiraki Square in the Plaka area was wonderful!

No memorable. Tour company never showed up. Horrible company dont book them.
We were there FROM 9:30 AM to 10:10 am for the 10 am food tour noone was there. Shame on viator and tripadvisor
Athena was great!! Very knowledgeable about the food and Greek culture- all the food was great and we were stuffed by the end and didn’t even eat dinner that night!!

We had a wonderful tour! My brother and I turned out to be the only two who booked that day, so we got a very personal tour of the food and culture in Athens. Illiana was a fantastic guide - very friendly, gave lots of context on everything we explored, and answered all our many questions about living in Athens. Lilly was the BEST…the private tour was the way to go as she was able to accommodate my food allergy. There was so much wonderful food, we could not eat it all. We got a good …no great insight of Greek culture.
I would take any tour she gives. My husband left a water bottle and she called the restaurant and then ran back to get it while we ate. She is the best guide we have ever had and we take guided tours all the time.

This food tour was fantastic. The tour guide was passionate about her Greek heritage and the Greek food she grew up with. It was amazing trying different Greek foods and hearing about the Greek culture. She also tried to teach us some Geek words. We walked around the city and sampled many different foods and ended our tour with a lunch meal. We would suggest this tour to anyone traveling to Athens.
