We had a lovely time on this tour. Captain Jang did a great job guiding us through the canals and telling us very interesting stories about Amsterdam’s history. He also had a fun sense of humor. He shared some tasty Amsterdam treats with us. I would definitely recommend this tour. 5 out of 5.

I paid for 3 adults arrived at the meet area 15 minutes ahead of time. Boat never came and the operator would not answer messages

Do not take the Mokumboot Amsterdam Canal boat tour!

This could have been an amazing tour but unfortunately the Mokumboot boat tour guide was not good at all. First, there was no one to help us when we arrived at the pier, so finding our boat was very difficult. 2nd, we did not receive a blanket until at least 20 minutes into the tour. 3rd, our tour guide did not tell us anything about what we were seeing related to Amsterdam, no history, just a very few words about art that scattered throughout the canal. It absolutely was not worth the the price we paid and I would not recommend this Mokumboot company to anyone. I think they should refund our money.

Even though it was an hour tour it felt like we hardly saw anything. They gave some information about a couple of things but otherwise quiet and kinda boring. It was disappointing because there was such a small,group of us that they could have it much more pleasant and personal.

We arrived early to the meeting place for the guided tour only to find no representative from the company or a boat. After wandering around, we spoke to another boat company and they made a phone call and told us that the tour had been canceled. We had zero notification. Luckily the other boat tour was able to get us on their boat, which was fantastic, but this company was a huge disappointment. I’m anxiously awaiting my refund for my pre-payment for this tour that never happened.

Highlight of the Amsterdam trip

My husband and I went on this trip with another couple of friends. We went for the all you can drink option which was an absolutely bargain compared to the cost of drinks in Amsterdam. Our guide Emil was fantastic, friendly, and informative. He answered loads of questions and provided us with interesting facts about Amsterdam. Even though he was on his own without a server he let us help ourselves to drinks, encouraging us to go for it and get our money’s worth! It was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend. Thank you Emil for a great time.

The tour boat was the right size, no more than 20 people. Unfortunately, our chosen day and time was a little cold and rainy and the cover was on the boat but we could still see the sights. The tour person was great and very knowledgeable. We had fun and it was very interesting.

It was challenging finding the tour operator among so many others. No signs. Once on board the boat captain and assistant spent much of the hour having their own conversation. Very little information was given unless we asked.

Very relaxing doing this open boat canal cruise on a sunny, mild temperature day. Very corner we turn is a picture worthy view. Seats are comfortable, the guide are nice, and the complimentary drink did not hurt. Thank you for the good time.!

We had less than 24 hours in Amsterdam and this was an excellent way to see the city from the canals. Capt Mike took us on our hour ride. Zoey was new to the tour job but was very personable and knowledgeable. She gave us a great recommendation for dinner.

Beautiful views, but the "tour guide" spoke a grand total of three times and was on his phone during the tour. He didn't have a mic.

Double booked and packed full.

Arrived to find we were double booked and the boat was packed full. With little room on the boat it was a bit of a squeeze getting us all in. We were shoulder to shoulder. We were also at the wrong end of the boat and couldn’t hear much of what the tour guide said. I probably wouldn’t recommend this one to others. Bit of a disappointment.
